I dont know, but seems like the immigration is slowing down... I'm not seen as many updates as before. I remember 4 months ago, everyday someone was getting something. :-\... I send my Criminal Record in July and nothing after that.
App filled: Dec 2015
Revived: Jan 2016
AOR: April 2016
Crime.red. June 2016
Crime.send July 2016

So your case is in SIR.. meaning it will be done before June ;).

That said, I am seeing activity mostly in the 2015 inland group.

It may not seem like many, but keep in mind, CanadaVisa only sees maybe 1% of cases. Look at the CIC Statistics.. 78,000 inland applications, and in the 2015 sheet only 400.

That's ~1%....

EDIT: no one saw that... there was no mathing...

Hi all, just need a little advice on my OWP!
Received it in the mail and have found a job! Job requires the Respect in Sport and First Aid certifications. The only problem is that my OWP says no professional, academic, or vocational training. Do those certifications fall under that category?

Enh...
Technicallly yes, but you could argue that it's part of employer new employee training....

Those courses aren't vocational training, those are are 1 or 2 day sessions, which is not what the government is trying to stop you from doing. My colleague on a work permit just did a first aid course; no problem. I think you are all good to go here. Congrats on finding a job so fast.

Hey thanks so much! You just saved me from a 25 minute wait time with IRCC :o I've been doing some research, I think if the certification or 'course' is less than six months, it doesn't count as vocational training. Of course like Profiler said, I can always argue that it's new employee training. Which it is :)

Have a wonderful day!

Thank you very much Profiler, my only option is wait a little more.

@Profiler: So what does your magic ball/ software tell about my case? Its now in the spreadsheet as Sam (June1, Inland app, got AOR and AOR 2 June 23 and June 29). No upfront medical but PCC yes (US & India). Still no communication. When do you think will be their next move and approximate landing happening?

BTW How did you contact the local MP? Is there a standard protocol/ process? I can ask my wife (Sponsor) to do the same for me.

Thanks a ton again,

Sam

You've only just started. You're probably a candidate for SIR, but you may not see anything from them until Jan or Feb 2017.

I'd do your medical ASAP though, as they will arrange case priority to those who had done medicals..

As for the MP, there is no reason for you to contact them yet. Silence from CIC is typical -- and a good thing. But your wife can just google her ridings' MP office and call. But I don't think there is any need right now... I doubt they have really started yet.

Did you look in myCIC?

@profiler your wife and my hubby in the waiting for dm club, @Maria I grew up In brampton and we are renting. @profiler I know that feeling about having a freak out moment with cic.

Normally i wouldn't care too much... but it has been a terrible year, add to it "non-compliance" from cic.. you get it...

@profiler yeah we applied for inland last December 2015 a lot longer than you. And let cic do their thing but it seems they have been focusing last part of 2015 and beginning on 2016 onot the syrians

When line 2 says in process in all 5 categories is it a good thing something out do with visa office line 3 with medical results received that's good too
