Sponsorship:
We received your application to sponsor Your Awesome Wife on March 2, 2016.
We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on May 13, 2016.
We started processing your application on May 28, 2016.

Permanent Residence:
We received Your Awesome Wife's application for permanent residence on March 2, 2016.
Medical results have been received.

That's all ECAS says...

myCIC we only have Meds passed, Open status, and BG check in process (which the MP confirmed). Interview not needed at this time, and no additional document needed, aaaaaand final decision (I wish this said PASSED) is not started...

Our stats are expected though. If you are nuts like I am, and you need some bathroom reading material, AND you just LOVE reading about immigration procedures, print out IP-8 and OP-2. Those will explain largely what you might want to know. And IP-8's Section 5 is apparently executed (reasonably) in sequence. There are some stages that jump to other steps, or are skipped, but they are largely executed in sequence...

Eg: Admissibility:
- Medical
- Criminality and Security

So we saw a note stating that Medical had passed a few weeks back. We have discovered that Criminality and Security in process. That's the last step at CPC-M before being shipped off to Kitchener's CIC office for final review and issuance..

I am not overly religious. Baptised of course, but not practising. Here is IP-8: http://www.cic.gc.ca/englisH/resources/manuals/ip/ip08-eng.pdf and OP-2: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/op/op02-eng.pdf .

I found it helpful to start at Section 5. Then anything more I wanted to know, I went mining...

Enjoy!

@profiler Thanks I am thinking to get hubby to call his lawyer in December or January she will not talk to me as long I have ecase it's OK cause I ask her about the copr or ppr and rrpf and she was like only talk to your husband cause it's his business for his pr cause every Tuesday or once a month email her about his case so I stop

Yeah try not to worry about it. My wife ignores it unless an email comes in, or I bring it up. She told me to manage it and she just lives her life.

I am a process guy, so the guides are helpful for me. I can map out almost every step on a flow chart...

@profiler when we went last time July 19,2016 she said our case is going good and her partner looked at the paper on her desk than said something in Portuguese with a smile and said in English congratulations to my husband because of the pcc and I take it from that we are in SIR or we going according to plan it's all good

That situation is a little fishy??? If you are the sponsor, why are you being excluded from discussions??

My wife believes I am 100% entitled -- I am the one sponsoring her and who will be responsible for her -- I should know everything (she feels).
