Only reason I mentioned that story with respect the Family lawyer is because my ex's lawyer and her don't talk anymore. It's obvious. On days when only a lawyer has to show up to schedule something or file something, my ex has been at the court house. My lawyer reports this kind of thing to me. My lawyer had to speak to the court on my ex's behalf once (on one of those days)...

SO... if your husband's lawyer is not willing to work with you, then...

Review of medical results: Not needed at this time

Scheduling an interview: Not needed at this time

Looking at all that do you think they just started and any contact to local MP is not needed at this time?

Don't worry about it. I do eventually sleep. I just periodically check to make sure there isn't something that I can answer..

There is no "A background check is needed"??? Strange...

However, you just started the process. So, I think it's premature to worry about an MP for now. If they do something that you feel is incorrect, then it's time for an MP.

I have seen you all here talking about lines and dots on ECAS and tones of "valuable" information.... First of all, I cannot check my sponsor's ECAS, says app not received. Second, I - the applicant - have only one line (I suppose) that says app received July 13. Background check in progress is in myCIC. Is my ECAS so unfriendly that doesn't talk to me at all?

Application Number: F000xxxxxx
Surname/Family Name: profiler (my surname)
Date of Birth: 31/12/0000 (profiler's DOB)
Place of Birth: Canada (profiler's country of origin)

and I can see both applications.

That's exactly what I use! but it shows nothing.. When I use MY details it shows app received. I must be doing something wrong...

Yup, we're not even anymore...

So, did it ever work? If it did, it is possible that someone clicked the big red button... If not, maybe he should call into CIC to tell them he cannot see anything in ECAS...

Maybe they traced YOUR IP and decided that you don't need access to your husband's ECAS?

No it didn't work....
And his IP belongs to me, they should know that; we have a signed contract on that, it's called marriage certificate

wait... are we talking IP as in internet protocol, or intellectual property? I suppose both are the same, huh?

Well, you can call CIC for him (if you are his Representative), just tell them he cannot log in. You can send a CSE if you don't need to see ECAS today (I wouldn't recommend looking... that's where Salty Tuesdays came from..)

EDIT: Maybe the Use of A Representative is why he can't see it? Did you both sign one of those? You have to if you have an open relationship

@Profiler so is your ex and your are getting a long now. @Maria get you better half to call in or you see what's going.talking about family law profiler my grandma cousin daughter is a divorce laywere in toronto. My hardworking hubby is divorce in Portugal he has a 14 years old son they get along funny thing she even sent their divorce papers to Canada he paid her back and than we got them translated to English than lawyer to say we can get married and in June my husband asked his ex wife to send his pcc and she did and he paid her back and they are cordial talk about their son bUT their divorce is a good one

Short answer: we are civil.

Long answer: Our case is very strange (my lawyer says). She makes ridiculous statements like she is too afraid to talk to me, but she is willing to ask to borrow a game console, or to ask me to give her rides places?? The best one was after we had to adjourn because she stormed out of the court crying, an hour later my cell phone starts blowing up with texts. Ended with her asking if my wife and I would go with her and my offspring to Disney Land??? But she is afraid to even talk to me?? She was trying to build a case for Sole Custody and less than minimum Access. They tried to impute my income (because I was working 2 jobs to feed her money demands -- she is (I am pretty sure) post-partum depressed. So, because I worked 2 jobs to make ends meet, they tried to impose slavery on me...

Of course, the court told her that they will not get any of the things they asked for, and they sided with me about MORE access even.

So, we made a formal offer to settle (everything that the court agreed with) that she will have to sign by the end of November, or we will be seeking my costs to date. If she signs that, then we have a chance to at least speak a little more and hate a little less...

we are pretty far off topic -- so to sum up that side discussion: every parent has joint-custody. Only if they voluntarily give that up or the court orders the severance of parental custody can cause sole custody. So, I went for joint, more access (lots of proof to show that's a perfect idea), my lawyer has all these text messages. It's pretty obvious that it's a front. Anyway the court stated that they would grant joint custody, my access terms, and they won't get anymore than guideline support for my son (which is has been getting since the mess started). The Xanax she's had to take, and the OPP officers she almost killed with my car are proof to how crazy she is.

There's nothing useful on ECAS for the sponsor. It is pretty difficult for someone not to qualify as a sponsor so I really wouldn't worry about it. You're already in the SIR so the primary applicant is being processed before having to wait for SA anyway.

I can only see both applications when I sign in using the sponsor's information. When I use my last name and info, I only see my application for PR,not sponsors.
