@profiler she does talk to me in English and tells me but I know it's OK cause everything is ip and she does not like me because I make sure where we are in the case and make sure she's on the ball she's in her 60s when we went in July it's like she does not want to be there her kids work there and there papers on her desk and her partner was like call in to see if she send the pcc in July or reminder she has a lot of clients or put files in the drawers same with my husband wants me to know and i found pcc on ecase and I called her in June and it was requested than she said it arrived on June 22 when was June 17 they requested so she likes to be left alone you get it

I have a family law lawyer (we are "working" out a solution surrounding my son -- loooong story -- sometimes it's a better idea not to involve the court -- ask my ex). I can tell you, that she has me edit her drafts, add comments, we speak over email/phone/etc no problem. She speaks with everyone in my family (parents, wife, etc). Obviously you pay everytime someone wants to talk, but she is happy to do it...

I hear ya. To further my point about lawyers working with clients, my ex won't really work with her lawyer. Together they built this fantastic lie, and basically they stuck to it to try to avoid me getting any more access to my offspring. Together with my lawyer and family, we have destroyed her credibility with the court and now they are about to order (they already made recommendations -- my ex left the courtroom (during session) crying) and if she isn't going to agree, the court will order it under a police-enforceable order.

Her lawyer is like the one you describe. This woman makes me laugh every time I hear her talk -- I have laughed to her face (loudly) at the courthouse. You get no where when you don't want to work with clients ... all of them... I certainly don't recommend antagonising a family lawyer of 30 years, but my god, it's impossible to even keep a straight face when they come up with absurd things... They might have well claimed that the Flying Spaghetti Monster is real....

So your case is in SIR.. meaning it will be done before June .

That said, I am seeing activity mostly in the 2015 inland group.

It may not seem like many, but keep in mind, CanadaVisa only sees maybe 1% of cases. Look at the CIC Statistics.. 78,000 inland applications, and in the 2015 sheet only 400.

That's ~1%....

EDIT: no one saw that... there was no mathing...

There are also facebook groups---a good 50% of the spreadsheet probably comes from those.

Well, from 78,000 in inventory, we can only see less than 1,000. So, when it seems like a week or two goes by and nothing, that's because they are likely working those other cases that we cannot see....

Anyone do an upfront medical (after they applied--before it was requested), still waiting over 4 months for status to update? Been 4 months 23 days. Tried calling CIC a month ago since their website says around 3 months....and didn't really get anywhere...just that they have the medical and it's valid until June 2017. Haven't had time to call again, but want to see if anyone else is waiting a while too.

While I cannot comment on the part about being between application and med request, I can comment on the upfront medical before hand. My wife's expires Sunday. They acknowledged it 3-4 weeks ago? It was sent with the application and was totally clear. Her BP is lower than mine, and I routinely use depressants (and she loves the black tea).

I would use google to try to find the thread on this forum that contains tips (search terms: canadavisa.com linking mycic).... I cannot remember them all.

1. Make sure you are using the Applicants info (you cannot link a sponsors app).

2. You do not have to enter both Birth and Passport info...but you must enter one of them. If one doesn't work, try the other. (Common solution)
2a. You can also type a space (Hit spacebar) for the city and then leave passport info blank. (this essentially leaves both blank) (also common solution)

3. At a minimum mark 2 people when it asks how many are on the application. (Applicant/sponsor) then add any dependents that are coming into Canada with the applicant.
3a. A rare occurrence 1 person works.

4. Try different options for application details

5. Review your original application if you have it...and make sure what you are entering matches. pay attention to spacing of words and all detail...even though it also depends how the agent entered your data.

Also if you haven't received AOR yet, you may need to wait. It will only work if they've scanned your file in.

If you have a representative, you cannot link through MyCIC....the rep will have to do it via a separate site.

Application status : open

Review of eligibility : Not started

Review of medical results: Not needed at this time

Review of submitted document: field empty

Scheduling an interview: Not needed at this time

Looking at all that do you think they just started and any contact to local MP is not needed at this time?

good morning profiler I know,that I am up early my hubby works construction so sometimes i am up when I hear him munching on a small snack. talk about family law my hubby immigration lawyer was once working for legal aid before in the family law department aND I. guess she made no money there so she hopped over to immigration law. You right about divorce lawyer's especially when they represent people they try to do is make everyone mad so they can extort or make as much money in the situation and get everything where the ex wife get there way
they try hard to make you and your ex to hate each other with my mum brother for 18 yrs in court for his son cause his ex was certified crazy brainwashing his son against him and that is their job to lie divorce lawyers for women

with some divorce lawyers they do not like it when exs are civil so basically if you're ex does not do what the court is order she can loose custody. I was telling you at previous post how nasty my uncle divorće was for 14 years now his son is almost 19. his ex has brainwash him to a point a few years his ex was working on city council outside ottawa so she caught charged for some sort of corruption so make story my uncle got revenge but he could not talk about to his son cause his mom brain washed him plus damage him so uncle got his revenge. with these familk laywers some of them encourage lying and etc and some cases like my uncle going to court a lot spending 80k for 14 years and her making excuses and kids being spoiled or playing both parents. bUT usually courts sides with the women @profiler how old is your offspring
