Well, I did mention to her what it looks (and feels) like. But from her perspective, this is the longest she has been away from her family and friends. Her mom did "occupy" our basement for a couple weeks not long ago, but she hasn't seen people from home in some time now. So she feels the urge to go back to see them. Cambridge isn't terrible. Kitchener sure as hell is. I am in tech, and KWCG is an innovation and tech mega-centre. So, her being in financial services, and me being in tech, this region has the highest employment possibilities on the planet (within the industrialised world) that would satisfy both our careers. Add to that, that she can attend Uni for free (as long as she wants), and I require the services of a medical doctor every few weeks, and every year that involve surgery that is specialised enough that they wrote about my case in a medical journal.
