We have SA, AIP, and DM. We are just waiting to land. In the whole province of Quebec, there is only one office for landing (Montreal) and I think they are really overloaded with refugees. Ontario has what... 10 landing offices? So I can understand the 8 weeks processing time in Montreal.

But we are not in your way, we are done with CPC-M!!!

LOL. Just kidding. Come to Kitchener. The Profilers will get you an interview. ;)

I was actually a bit surprised that Quebec city does not have its own landing office to be honest. We are not a very big city, but should be big enough to have one.

Anyway, I don't mind driving to Montreal for landing, we actually need to go from time to time to buy middle-east products my wife likes.

I wouldn't mind at all! As long as the Jays play in Toronto the same day! (That part would not please too much my wife!!!). But this season I should get very lucky to go and see them win a game...

Quebec City is the size of Hamilton (population) according to Google... and 2x the size of Kitchener (and Windsor, and NF), and definitely larger than London.

I suspect the spread is because ON is the destination for > 50% of immigrants to Canada... that's the best I got for ya...

I agree. When I moved in Quebec city in 2000, there were not too many immigrants. Nowadays though, I feel the city is becoming much more cosmopolitan, which is good. But still, Quebec province and even more Quebec city immigration will always remain lower than Ontario with the major barrier being the language.

Just to clarify, are you saying you submitted a copy of new passport on March 27th, 2017?

If he has not submitted a copy of the new passport and updated medical, then that is what they are waiting for?

ok so he couldn't find the old passport so he sent the new one and told them it was lost so they requested for a police report but before he could do the report he found it and sent to them but they still requested for the police report since it was missing for some time and they had already requested for the report so he had to do the report and send to them which was received on the 27th of March.

The process is a little different for QC too. It confused me for the longest time.

It's funny, the language being a barrier (well, not really), because a guy I work with speaks Parisian french. He grew up there. Yet, he ended up moving to Waterloo region (ON) for work. His first visit to QC was a visit to MTL for a weekend with his wife about 3 weeks ago...
