I just called CIC about the appointment dates. They said, my file will first come in Calgary office, which will take around 3 weeks and then I will get a call from office. Really??? Still i have to wait for another 1-2 mth.... Ghosh, i am being so restless now....

I know how you feel. Trust me. They are ready to issue my wife's PR too, but haven't passed the decision to us yet. Our landing office is super fast...next week appointments! Just want the wIsa already!

We are only at 13.5...so I can't claim that. Wife doesn't care, she leads a normal life.. I, like you, want it over.

Calgary, I hear is slow right now. They are sending cases to Vancouver for landings and processing.. I know it's not what you wanted to hear, but it's better to know upfront..

Really? But they wrote in the letter that Calgary ppl will get in touch with me for further proceeding. Do you think, they will ask me to go Vancouver for landing?

I have heard some had to. I can't say for sure. Maybe their work backlog is gone now...

Hi Angel123456, can understand your pain totally. I was gonna ask about your timeline but can guess when you started from 17 mo info. Did you get any doc req in the meantime at all? If yes, when? Also, please keep use posted on your final landing interview date. I am based in your area so will be useful to know that.

Hi there, I have already done the medical test, but don't know what to do next. I called CIC up and waited for an hour, still having no answer, which drove me crazy.

1. It was an emedical, the receptionist of the clinic told me to mail the sheet to CIC. Which address can I mail to? What else do I need to attach with?

2. How can I check the result of the medical test?

You don't have to mail the form if it was e-Medical. The clinic will send the results including your Chest X-Ray and probably the blood work (sometimes its the clinic where the blood work is done will send them directly e.g. Alberta Health Services). All you can do is to send a CSE with the scan of your e-Medical sheet they gave you.
