Sponsoring husband from Morocco

He does whatever the embassy told him to do. They didn't ask me for the receipt or to bring anything to the embassy after re-doing my medical, just the forms and instructions on where to do them. The cover letter makes no mention of needing my receipt, only that I must do the medical within 60 days of the date of the letter.

I need a clear answer please because my husband and I are at odds over this.

When my husband does his second medical on Monday does he need to take the receipt the Dr will give him to the embassy?

Or is he just waiting till Paris sends the results to the embassy?

It just happened that my hubby had his medical redone when he went for the 2nd interview (because one date was wrong and missing one address on the new form). So the VO took the receipt that he got from the doc but he made sure to photo copy it before going. I would email and ask them if he should bring it there.

Talking to hubby right now, he said to call and ask for a meeting and tell them why: to bring the receipt from the medical. They will set up a time etc. Make sure he photocopies it though.

we really missed to hear something about you .....my wife received the letter from Mississauga on February 2 i dont receive any call or letter until now!!!!!!

If you included your email in the application, you may get an AOR, but not everyone does. Use that file number to log into e-cas with your wife's name. That way, you should be able to see both parts of the application process- the sponsorship approval at CPC-M and your assessment as a PR candidate at the VO, Rabat. You should be able to see, for the first portion, the application received and decision made dates. Mississauga sends your file via government courier to the embassy immediately after it has approved you for step 1. So there will be at least an "application received" date for the second stage of processing in e-cas as well, possibly "medicals received."

okay i will try that file number and see if it says anything online,,,,and as i said,the call center told us many times that my wife has been approved as sponsor,,,and that was in january,,now it's marsh and i didnt get yet anything from the VO,,,just a call or a letter saying they received my file and they are working on it

Hi guys just to let you know my time lines

Application sent on feb 2010 they received in feb as well....
processing from rabat on May 5th,2010 then interview dec 2010...refused in dec 2010 then hired lawyer then ADR on dec 12th,2011.

it took 7mths from the time RABAT started processing till the interview.....so takes awhile..........its crazy

do u guys think that it goes faster the 2nd medical then the 1st......

DMP,that's mean the doctor,,,right?!right,,,lol,,,i dont have to take appointement yet,as i said i haven't gotten any letter or call from the VO here in Rabat,just to tell me they have my file and they are working on it,,,and for the first medicale i did it on april 2010,because we have sent in the first application on june 2010 and it got lost and they never said anything,,,but this time they told us many many times on phon that my wife who is the sponsor,has been approved as sponsor,,,and im waiting here to hear something from the ambassy,just to let me know they have the file and they have started processing it,,,but still nothing,,,

She just told him to redo the medical.... I am online with him now and he said he received no form.. just told to do it.

It says that the security and criminal checks have not been started.... correct me if I am wrong but didn't someone on here say before that the VO said it would take like 4 months to complete this?? ?? ?? ??

It doesn't have anything about the relationship or the requested interview? Look at the very last page, there'll be a paragraph in bold. What's the date they were generated?

Do you mean when did CIC request the notes? If so, I have a date of Feb 13.

Yes it also said they request an interview and the papers they wanted.

But it says the criminal and security checks have not been started. And I believe when habibti's husband was in for the interview his VO said it would take 4 months to complete these.... correct if I am wrong habibti.

She just told him to redo the medical.... I am online with him now and he said he received no form.. just told to do it.

Then he should fill out the Appendix C again. It won't hurt, either way. But he has to inform them it's been done so they know to request the results from Paris. Odd that they didn't give him another form. But that embassy is on my bad side these days.
