how are You guys i have a question please did the embassy take your passport the day for interview or they call you after to give them your passport and make visa and give you back in the same day ??

no the embassy does not keep your passport at the time of the interview,

they may if they want to because they need to issue visa. i have seen cases where they ask u to come after 1 hour to 1 day to 1 week so take ur PASSPORT and id cards with you.

no you cant be on social assistance,,,,and with moroccan hubby i hope you have lots of cash...you will need it cause you have 3 yrs to support them.....enjoy the ride

my friend i didn't mean that i will wait until someone tell me that i should marry then i go for it...that is not logic lol.... i was just asking if someone had the experience of marrying from the first time that the sponsor comes to morocco, and i see that many friends here have done that...
And YES i really love my sweetheart so much.

I would like to answer to the friends here a question :
- if the sponsor is on a social assistance...does this make a difference for the process?? because i've been reading in the first pages that the sponsor shouldn't be on a social assistance...

in morocco visa's are issued only on Wednesday's, you will be asked to drop off the passport in the morning and then pick it up in the afternoon, but not the day of the interview

i would love to know if i should add my residency certificat to the other documents im going to join to my application
im moroccan,,and i heard from someone that i have to submite a residency certificate,but i dont see it on checklist form
they just ask about:
1-birth certificate
2-copy of passport and ID card
3-police clearance certificate
4-Medical test
5-marriage contract(translated in french or english)
that's it
is that good my friends?lol

if you are very lucky and all goes your way visa in Morroco can be issued in 7 months the average is 9 months....some of course take longer..........best of luck!
