Guys...

Some points and queries to go through...

1. What kind of reasoning they would have to come with the numbers that "779" ITAs and "889" points?
I thought the numbers would be rounded atleast like 1000 ITAs and points "500" etc..
2. This is too far a low number of invites. I am still positive that they don't have enough in the pool and they are hoping that the pool will build up soon. Otherwise, why did they not publish the size of the pool.
3. The reason for only 779 could be that if they issue more, lets say 1000 or 1500, they dont have enough in pool and the exercise of drawing again may not even worth it.
4. May be the cut off score is too high because they want to set their point across that u better get a job first or make every attempt to get one.
5. 50 to 100 people in this batch will surely not able to accept the ITA because 60 days is too low to get the PCC from US. I applied 6 weeks ago and my credit card is not even charged yet.
6. 50 to 100 people will be refused by CIC because of whatever open questions that are out there on LMO Vs LMIA and whatnot.. (Not that I want this to happen..but that is how it is going to be. They want to probably make sure that to send a message that getting ITA is not everything.

With that said...
They should atleast have published more details on the draw like the how many CEC guys, how many PNP and how many LIMA etc..when is the next draw..

They don't choose the points, they choose the number of ITAs and the minimum points are dictated by the points scored by the lowest scoring profile issued an ITA.

It seems pretty clear that for this draw all they did was issue ITAs to anyone with an LMIA, that's why we had the odd number of 779.

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
This draw was more or less like a "Production-Test" as a software developer calls it. I wasn't even sure if they would make a draw by the end of January. They ave just kept their promise, guys!
By the next few draws we'll be fine, HOPEFULLY!

Buchino80: In order to boost up your score in the CRS system, you need all your documentation in hand. incl. spouse's IELTS and ECA report. The moment you enter the certificate number in there, you'll immediately see an increase n the score.

The have kept upto their word of a January last week draw and now they aren't answerable to anybody. for sometime atleast!
