International Student points CIC should scrap FSWP stream

Its not possible that change to point system wont impact any particular stream. It will impact every stream. When refugees were invited last year dec, initially canadian govt said it wont impact economic immigrants, but eventually it impacted all (since total quota of immigration is constant, if some stream get more, then other would surely get less). It even lead to changing name from CIC to IRCC (just to add regugees in the quota :-\) Quota per year isnt infinite.

What kryt0n you have lost hopes. If this will happen all of FSWP will lose hopes and I think they should scrap this category so people will not have any hopes

True. Basically, I haven't agreed with almost everything done by the Liberals so far, blindingly accept more refugees and give more points because of Canadian siblings?? nepotism much ?? this is an economic immigration system, not a family sponsor one.

Yes that is what I want to say. And still there should be a limit of bonus points to intl students with certain conditions not like every student gets 100-200 points for studies.

They should release changes like this:

• 10 points for Canadian degrees
• 25 points for NOC A and 0 occupations with market rate salary (to weed out those fake jobs at gas stations and ethnic restaurants
• 10 points for NOC B occupations with market rate salary
• 20 points for working and living in Atlantic provinces
• 2 points for Canadian siblings

Granting immediate permanent residency to new spouses entering Canada, rather than imposing a two-year conditional status that puts spouses – often women – in a position of extreme vulnerability.

these sposes could be non skilled or have no knowledge of french or english, still they become PR right away.

Well, and the program called Spouse Sponsorship

Btw, they keep using the word "Canadian siblings", so you might only get 2 points if your siblings are Canadian citizen, not PR.
