September tourist visa applicants

If I would have applied online then At least, I would be having my passport with me to travel with my friends on New Year eve.

Now, in such a scenario am unable to plan any vacation until I get my passport in my hands.

I also cannot expect getting my passport back from NDVO ON-TIME after making passport withdrawal request while keeping my application in process.

Dear, As per embassy and VFS, they required minimum 2 weeks time to return your passport once they will receive your request. You need to send CSE through Canadian Embassy , follow this link please

Why only September applications are taken so seriously ? I haven't seen any other month application waiting for so long, hehe.

May Be the good reason is backlog of applicants in Summer holidays as well as in Aug Sep cause this chaos in processing. I mean i know some of my friends and relatives did get visas in 60 days agreed but never heard much about these longer times. Anyways i am pretty fine with this ... i withdraw my passport on time and travelled too so i really dont have any issues.

Hahaha. Nothing in this world is impossible. You never know there will be a Christmas visa in your passport. .
But it depends how quickly they will finish the processing.

Got an email reply from NDVO.

Your application has been sent to an officer for review.

How long it can take now ?
Anybody help please.

Finally we will be expecting passport back on day 21 India time.
We applied Oct 27th 2017, paper based.
One applicant was former military, so I'm guessing that why processing was so long.
Now to wait for results!

Yesterday was my birthday and I turned 38 from 37.
