Dear, make an GC account from CIC website and track your application. You are also in the same boat as other members are. Waiting in BackGround Check,
Already created an account using GC Key. But, but background check shows N/A
Also completed the concerned web form and send emails to the concerned visa office but no reply except standard auto revert emails.
Also ordered GCMS notes on November, 17th 2017. Haven't listened anything from them yet too.
Bro online also same problem coming...that doesn't matter whether u apply paper based or online
Send an CSE for Passport Withdrawl to Canadian EMbassy New Delhi as well as your relevant VFS center. You can write them about your travel plan and also write that You want your application in process and only wants passport for travel purpose. It wont effect your processing.
As mention in different threads, it will be idea if you make your mind about 3 months upto 6 months for Canada visa processing.
There is not such a big difference in paper based and online except you can add more documents in online.
If I would have applied online then At least, I would be having my passport with me to travel with my friends on New Year eve.
Now, in such a scenario am unable to plan any vacation until I get my passport in my hands.
I also cannot expect getting my passport back from NDVO ON-TIME after making passport withdrawal request while keeping my application in process.
I wrote am email 2 days before, regarding the withdrawal of passport But, I haven't listen anything from them yet.
