Sorry, what does that mean? In Canadian Experience Class – Number of applications accepted I still see 4,537/8,000.

Am I missing something?

How did you pay? If you sent it today theres no way you've been charged already. Sounds like it was a bankers draft going through.

Look at the very end of that page.

Note: The cap of 8,000 new Canadian Experience Class applications has been reached. Starting January 1, 2015, all applicants must go through the Express Entry system. There will be no occupation lists or caps under Express Entry.

based on the number system they published, I always try to read the sentence as:

FYI all I called CIC about an hour ago and they told me that the cap HAD NOT BEEN REACHED. They asked me to fill out a bug report.

But, it seems as though some people had been told the cap HAD been reached.

I stressed to the guy how important this was, and confirmed that he was not simply using the website as a resource. He confirmed that he had used other sources to confirm this.

However, I'm not sold, in fact I am shitting my pants.

It is pending, my overall credit limit was reduced by $550, transactions generally takes a few days to show up on my statement.

Good to know that even though the cap was reached they still charge CCs of September applicants. Lets hope they will do the same for October
