when your cc is charged your file is given a temporary file number that starts with letter X ...usually the file number starts with E

They won't give me a bowp without an aor or confirmation of eligibility which is my concern.

How you know about this temporary file number concept?

I included a covering letter, but now I'm thinking maybe I need to email them and ask if they can hold my application as aor's are outside the standard turnaround time and it's out of my control that I don't have one yet. I'm gonna ask the bowp forum and see what their thoughts are..

i think its better to ask a professional consulatant rather than asking people

I'm definitely not going to spend money on a consultant. They won't be able to give me worthwhile information and will take my money. I've accepted the fact that if it's declined it's declined but people on here have gone through or currently going through an experience which can help me. If you go through a consultant that's your prerogative you can do that for your piece of mind. I'm trying to find out what other people think that's all.

you are correct...i will meet you then on bowp forum....i am also in same situation

a friend of mine submitted application in september, and still havent got FN in the mail. now that CIC is saying( could be a mistake) that the cap of 8000 is reached, does it mean his application will be returned? and he has to file a new application under Express entry?
without LMO, and the 600 extra point, he wont stand out and will hardly be invited to apply under CEC. Is this the case for thousands and thousands formal students??

No... but if it gets rejected now there isn't a way I can work and get a work permit anymore because my work permit is expired. In a way it isn't really fair because it's not our fault that they are taking long to issue AOR... and I figured I gave myself enough time too...
I guess I can only blame myself for leaving it last minute... I'm frustrated lol

I believe once they reject you, you will have 60 days to restore your work status. However, restoration takes about 3 months.

I can't restore my work status as I was on IEC. Thanks anyway.
