Sure hope it's that way! Wonder why CIC website still shows a processing time of 13 months though... Better be that they're too busy speeding up the process to update their site!

I'd bet that they don't want to face increased volume of queries related to case processing...

Mine is also Medical received on ECAS today :P.

Hey congrats....did you do upfront mendicals, or you got the MR from CIC as you are a 3rd Sep applicant?

That's the interesting part about the processing times posted on the CIC website:

The processing times for the Canadian Experience Class and Live-in Caregiver Class are based on how long it took to process 80 percent of all cases between October 1, 2012 to September 30, 2013. Processing times are subject to change.

Actually this is my Second PR application. They considered the medicals I did last time. Thank God.

Oh I see, that makes sense! :) Well, congrats, glad they could use the old medical test results.
I updated the spreadsheet. Do you happen to remember the date you did your last medicals?? If not,
I'll simply put a "-" in the medicals done field on the spreadsheet.

Great observation! I believe I should be able to +1 on posts very soon now...

Yes, the "Good/Poor" option should be unlocked fairly soon. So, as soon as CIC updates
the processing times, which is done quarterly, the times should jump to about 11-12 months,
reflecting processing times between October 2013 - whatever day the update it :)

Applied for a PR for a country so cold,
Then I wait for a AOR so I can be free.
As comes the AOR, I took a step to be bold [bowp],
Checking my inbox for an email I want to see.

I ask to the maple tree, as the cold is leaving,
When would I get warm letter from CIC?
Haunting are the nights, endless are the morning,
I refresh my inbox for MR I want to see.

As the time has come, someone handles our case,
My heart is skipping one or two every day.
Everybody is filled with hope, to win the Canadian race,
I eagerly check my Inbox, spam and the forums not to spare.

All the best Guys. :D

Nice one. Awesome.

Thanks buddy. Just thoughts put in a poem.

CIC received my file on Spet 3rd as well. How come I didn't get MR? So stressful at this point to see other applicants who applied on the same date got MR.

Don't worry. You will get your MR today. It might also depends on the time they received your file. Your file might have reached them late and they could be working on it now.

It is perfectly normal. Dont worry. You will be in the queue and each case is different.
What is applicable for one - may not be for another.

Just on stats side - only 41 out of 74 in Aug 2013 have got medicals....as per trackit
So few either have not bothered to update or it may indicate 50% receiving medicals...Can be taken either way

Hang in there. You'll get the MR soon. Some of the August applicants are still waiting as well, seems like some applications
take a little longer ...

Hi guys,

what do you think is the reason that my PNP shows as "2. medical exam result received" but nothing on my CEC?? I emailed the receipt twice already - once attention to PNP stream and the other is to CEC.
