I received MR on 23rd-March at 6AM Cape Town, SA time.. SA is 6hrs ahead of EST timezone - so it is 00:00 mid night on 23rd-March of Canada... :-D

Yes, the status will change when CIC receives the medical test results and begins processing the application.

This might help.

Also, some people suggested to do medicals on an empty stomach, however it's not mandatory. I had a good
and rich breakfast and my test results were just fine. If you have sugar issues, you might want to eat the right
things so your blood tests come back negative.

Congrats to all those who have received the MR. As I live in the UK, my application would be processed in the immigration office. I was wondering if this may delay the process as compared to those whose application have been processed in Canada.

All applications are being processed in Ottawa at CPC-Ottawa There won't be a delay.

congrats bhopali...btw Toby 2 of my friends july applicants had their eacs status as in process after a couple of days of receiving the medical request irrespective of results being uploaded in fact results got uploaded after they received rprf...

Well, than lets hope we get them application processed sooner than later! Curious to see how our
applications are being processed with upfront medicals.

I can see a person in August in the excel who did upfront medicals...8th Aug Applicant and received RPRF on 17th March and eacs changed on 10th march...just speculating based on a case ours should be similar....well Hope and Pray good luck prevails for all....!!

So it's not really a faster processing, as other applicants also received RPRF on March 17th and E-CAS also changed to
in process for them. We shall see in a couple of days We're like 30-40 days away from getting our applications
finalized. 8) 8)

Sure hope it's that way! Wonder why CIC website still shows a processing time of 13 months though... Better be that they're too busy speeding up the process to update their site!
