Dear Experts,

I am facing a situation and require your good advice.

I and my family landed last September 2014 in Toronto but could not get the PR card as we had to return back. Now the PR cards are lying with my relative in Toronto. The problem is that he is very conservative and thinks that sending the same through courier is risky and might put him in trouble. He is not willing to do it at all and i have failed to convince him. I plan to permanently go to Canada next year in May 2015 (staying away for 1 year and 6 months).

I have the following questions:

1) Is there any risk in applying for travel document at the time when i will be going next year. They might ask that why i was staying away for such a long time. (even though i will still be complying with the time limit criteria)
2) Is it possible that I obtain a written approval from CIC allowing me to ask my relative to dispatch the PRs through courier. If yes than on what email address shall I send my request.

Guys, I did my medicals yesterday at Al Warood, Riyadh...Only blood test, urine test, X ray, B.P check up, eye test(just to read alphabets by closing one eye)..doc just asked whether i had any diabetes, major surgery in the past etc...thats all...I was wondering there was no vaccination...Is that right guys?? no vaccination for Canada Medicals?

There is no vaccination requirement, have a look at the form for the medical IMM5419E (google it) I hope you saw it on med day.

Your relative is very much afraid to send the cards.
You can order online a pickup service from DHL/FedEx/UPS from his address to your country and pay online. The courier guy will go to his place and pick the package and deliver it to you. His name will not be involved in this. Check if he agrees to do that.

I have filed my FSW application in 25 Nov. 2014, and until now (10/4/2015) i received no reply from immigration office ..
this is really confusing me , and i don't know if there is something wrong with my application.
now after the express entry is implemented, the official web site is not providing any useful information about the old system of Fsw ..
is it time for me to start worrying and sending emails to the central immigration office ??
and if so how would be the contact with CIO ... email, phone , or what ??

Is it mandatory to use VFS to submit passports to Canadian Embassy in Riyadh for Visa stamping for immigration?

Or can be send by any courier ?
