Any courier is ok Aramex of Fedex... I applied through Aramex, Am living in abu dhabi & It came in around 15 days after visa stamping at my adresss.

By the grace of Allah; my wait is over. I have received my passports with Visas + CoPR today. ;D . This is amazing; Embassy took only 2 days to stamp my passport.

Question 1: Did You Request the Visa Office for Visa Stamping at Riyadh or they instructed you automatically for Riyadh Visa Office because most of the time applicants from Saudi Arabia are instructed for Abu Dhabi Visa Office for Stamping.

Question 2: how much time VO give you for submitting your passports for stamping.

All my colleagues and friends who just recently got visas stamped were not asked to submit to abu dhabi. Automatically it was directed to submit passports to Riyadh Embassy.

In email, they give usually 30 days time to submit the passports via VFS Global offices in Jeddah, Khobar n Riyadh.

Question 1: Did You Request the Visa Office for Visa Stamping at Riyadh or they instructed you automatically for Riyadh Visa Office because most of the time applicants from Saudi Arabia are instructed for Abu Dhabi Visa Office for Stamping. This is not true! Saudi based applications do not route to Abu Dhabi; but to Riyadh. No! I did not ask them and it was automatically routed to Riyadh Embassy. They route your application to your current residential country.

Question 2: how much time VO give you for submitting your passports for stamping. 30 days

So, i sent an E-mail (riyadh.visa@ international.gc.ca) to Canadian Embassy in Rhiyadh requesting to get hard copy of the PCC request letter in Arabic langauage to Saudi police by Aramex courier and I got automated recept of e-mail. But,even after 3 days of my e-mail, i didn't get any replay from Rhiyadh office. I think their normal replay time is with in 72 hours.

What should i do next ? E-mail again or send Fax

Anybody has FAX experience ?

Please help me.

Don't wait for them. I got my letter from my Embassy (Egypt), attested it from MOFA and then done my KSA PCC smoothly

I am linving in Saudi Arabia on Family Visit Visa status. NDVO requested me to submit PCC from Saudi Arabia

Please help me to understand the meaning of below under lined sentence that i copied from CIC "How to get Police Certificate" section.

How to Get a Police Certificate - Saudi Arabia
Do I need to provide a Police Certificate with my Application for Permanent Residence? No. Citizenship and Immigration Canada will send you a letter requesting a police certificate after you send your Application for Permanent Residence. You must bring that letter when you apply for a Police Certificate.

Name of document(s) to get: Police Certificate

How to get a Police Certificate:



If you live in Saudi Arabia:
Certificates are available only to current legal residents.



What is the mening of "Legal Residents" ?

I think people who have Saudi IQAMA (Residence Permit). In my case, i am on Family Visit Visa status. I mean, i am not a Resident only a visitor. Am i Correct ?


Some of my friends told me that Saudi PCC will not issue for Visitors bacause saudi police need Iqama copy.

So, can i request for Saudi Arabia's PCC exemption from Visa Officer at NDVO quoting above under lined information from CIC web site ?

Friens please share your valuable advice and opinion.

I don't think you have to get notarization on new renewed passport copies.
Just send them proper photo copies of new renewed passport.
That's all.
It will serve the purpose.
If I am wrong then seniors please advice him...
