Thank you ! Well, right now I am enjoying a beautiful sunset on the terrace, I am VERY happy to finally live under the same roof with my husband, I still cannot believe I am here, so all in all everything is OK. I think you will like it here too Give us feedback after you arrive.

It is too hot, I didn't expect it, huh. But everyone tells me that in the winter I will miss this weather :-D I still didn't unpacked the luggage, I forgot 100 things home, the cat is crazy and scared, so yeah, life.

I checked now, nothing new regarding my immigration file.

Hello all
MY HUSBAND GOT PR!!! His passport arrived today with the visa stamped on and we are leaving in a month
I just wanted to mention that my husband's file got to Bucharest on March 11, 2015 and on July 10, 2015 he got approved for permanent residence. It took not even 4 months!!!
This is a miracle for us in a NUMBER of ways.
I froze my university studies and lived here with him until now. In September I would have HAD to return back to Canada to continue my studies. We both didn't want to stay apart from each other and we prayed, PRAYED AND PRAYED some more. Our families prayed, my church members prayed and God heard Truly, God is the one who issues ALL the visas on this Earth. It is HE who makes all things work for the good of those who love Him. Through this whole process we trusted in God because in no realm of reality could our minds have thought that we would receive this visa in not even 4 months. We trusted in God though and I know her saw our faith in HIM.
God bless you all on here and may His love for each one of you help you all to believe in Him, trust Him and give your entire life and problems to the one who holds all power.

Hello, I've just received an email from the embassy to send the passport, photos and some other details, yay! 8)

Did your status on E-Cas change before receiving their e-mail? Mine is still "Application received"

Now what is the procedure for "landing"? Are you sending your passport and all other documents (photos, etc) requested to the Embassy by courier and go to USA boarder and complete your landing there? Please keep us update with this procedure Thank you!

Hey Cutie, thank you, I still cannot believe it! I was so sure it will take ages, that's why I tried with visitor visa etc... but I won't complain now!

In the email they said if I am in Canada and plan to stay here more three more months I can send the passport and photos and these details to Ottawa and they will return the passport here in Canada. Then, for the landing process, the easier method is to cross the border, but I don't have US visa... so I cannot. And to Cuba we cannot go now, we just had a long vacation... :-D

Second method is to schedule an appointment at some CIC office that can make you the inland landing so to say, the only thing is that I know they let you wait a lot (2-3 months maybe) until they schedule you.

My ticket to Romania is for Jan.. I can change that and go sooner, but honestly I don't want to return yet, I still want to spend more time with my husband, I still miss him lol ))

So no idea how it's better, to try and get US visa and cross the border, go back to Romania earlier that I was supposed to, wait for that appointment or what, but for now I try to remain calm and do what they asked me.. I want to see first the visa and then I will figure a way out!

If I only knew.. a lot of things would have been different, but oh well, we cannot predict anything.

Still only "Application Received" and Medical Received for me. Applied Nov 13th and got the SA on Feb 14th (file transferred at that time, but received no AOR2 from the Embassy in Bucharest).
I am hoping the PPR will come this year....thoughts ?

I didn't receive any AOR2 either, I think Bucharest doesn't send that to everyone. Well it should be the case for you too to get news very fast. When I got my passport request in email, on ecas I still only had medicals received, only after few days they changed to in process and then fast to decision made. You and Teo should get news soon, I believe! Let us know here Keep it calm! :-*
