I have submitted my PR application. My mark sheets are scan of color xerox as the documents were elongated. I have also a enclosed the WES assessment as well. Should that be alright or any further action needs to be taken on this.

Although the instructions say only bio pages are required, it is better to upload all pages with stamps/visas/markings as it builds credibility around your application and around the travel/background information that you have provided. Remember, CIC will not make your case for you. You have to make your own case to CIC and it never hurts to provide additional information that gives more comfort to the VO.

If you only provide bio pages there will be no harm to your application. But why not build a strong application cover all the angles and provide additional information if you can? It cannot hurt and will only help.

Goodluck!
what if there is no travel history to show uptil the AOR ? I never submitted all the pages ! Just the bio ! now I am scared >.<

Thanx for the reply.

Just curios as there was a boarder few posts earlier whose application was refused because of notarised marriage certificate..

Hi Everyone,

My application was rejected last night for the reason I did not uploaded the true copy of my Marriage certificate. I only uploaded the notarized copy of it thinking the original was in Urdu so it won't be any useful. In past I always uploaded the notarized copy never the original and still my application was approved for work permit but not this time.

Thanks

Ash
Sorry to hear about this. Were they expecting to get a copy of the original in Urdu along with a notarized and translated copy in English by a CIC certified translator?

Hello all,

Since CIC does not review the entire application once they find a reason for rejection, i think it would be a good idea if we can all share reasons for rejection which we have come to know about. That way we can develop a nice list of possible reasons and make sure our applications are covered for that:

A few reasons i have seen on the forum are

- Job not specified as full time and permanent employment
- Failiure to upload ECA (even though it does not ask for it on the upload page)

My letters of reference don't clearly state that the job was full time and permanent. Though they clearly state that I worked 40 hours per week. Is that enough, or I need clearly state that the job was full time and permanent?

If you are applying as CEC, yes, those words are crucial.

For CEC - you need these words

For FSW - I think the hours are ok.

Also, the word 'Permanent' only applies to jobs where an LMIA has been done.

Hi,

So I got a rejection just now on the basis of missing document. I had provided them a police certificate for Pakistan, the only country i have lived in. However, the certificate mentioned my current address (i shifted to in 2013 after marriage). Thinking this shouldnt be a problem since the country is same I didnt get a separate certificate from the area where i lived earlier, same city same country.

Does anyone know how the refund process works?

Thanks,

I am very sorry about your rejection.

This issue was already discussed (but for Indian applicants). Get PCC from authorities that issue PCC s that are not time/geography bound.

Don't give up! Get PCC as mentioned above and try again! Good luck and all the very best!

I got rejected today as well as they did not accept the UK police certificate that I have uploaded. I had a Canadian company organizing this for me (the same company who runs all the back checks for my old employer) but apparently they want one from the UK directly.
Very upsetting that they don't give you the chance to correct that but at least you can re-enter the pool...

Sorry to hear that. From your experience of having now gone through a Consultant do you now think its better to apply by yourself?
