yesterday got a mail from ndvo asking the written explanation regarding the verification call they had made to my previous employer, as their was some misunderstanding happened between the two of them regarding my employment period....
seniors plz help me, as iam confused that do i have to reply them via email or by sending the documents via courier as they haven't mentioned anything...
and what are the chances i stand if i provide them a written explanation from my employer on company letter head...
plz reply ASAP

Your time line please. Keep your timeline updated which will help to answer. I would advise that you provide confirmation of period of service on company letter head and send them scan letter apart from sending copy through courier. Please understand from your supervisor as to what actual discussions happened and accordingly you may draft letter.

Hi MS111,
As per the current trend it appears that it'll take minimum 30 days and max up to 90 days to receive the PPR after the 3rd line update.
However now everyone hopes the NDVO will work extra fast to clear the back logs incorporate with the Express Entry applications.
Let us patiently observe the updates during up-coming weeks. So then we'll get some idea.

Guys,

In our country for children below 5 years old passports are with 1 year validity. I got request to provide copy of all passport pages. Even if we will make a new passport now at time when we will travel (probably spring 2016) we will need to make new passport for our small baby again as it will be less than 6 month remaining validity.

Is it possible to travel with 2 passports for small child, one with holes (copy of which I will send now) and another fresh passport?

I have been reading about all of yours journey to canadian PR for quite sometime now.
I congratulate everyone who has received the visa and wish luck to all who are waiting in the pipeline. I ask help from all of you for my case:
I applied during the month of june, 2014 and got my file number in late october 2014.(Dont exactly remember the date!!)

But since then, I have received nothing...
What should i do??
Plz help.

What do you mean by file no. Have you received PER and UCI as well. Please elaborate little more.

Dear Seniors,

Subject: Query on traveling with less than 6 months validity on Passport.

Need you help for an urgent matter.

We have recently received our stamped (Immigrant) visa and we have booked our tickets for 21st of May 2015. My wife is the primary applicant and her VISA is getting expired on 13th of November 2015. So on the date of traveling, 21st of May, she would have less than six month validity on her passport. Lot of people are advising us to prepone our travel before 13th May 2015 as people can only travel with minimum 6 months validity on their passport.
Yes u need to hv more than 6 months validity of ur pp to travel abroad....I m 100% sure as I hv worked with an airline....cheers
So i would like to know if anybody in this forum has faced such scenario and what is the way out. Because Cancelling the tickets would cost us heavily.
