Congrats to those who received movements. I too have received 3rd line update "Medical results have been received". It seems all my updates are done on a Saturday ;D Those who are waiting just hang tight, your time is coming soon.

Hi guys. 3rd line updated just now.

It was so unexpected considering my husband had TB history. I was waiting for additional tests mail, but recd the 3line update.

So so happy.

Got my stamped passport back from NY Today. I sent my passport on 1st Apr and got it back within 10 days from NY Consulate.

Just want it share information with people. May be it will help somebody:

My original office was New Delhi. As I am in US, I sent a case specific request to NDVO AND NYVO sseparately that I want to get my visa stamped in New York. New Delhi office has not replied till date but NY OFFICE REPLIED WITHIN a week and asked me to submit the passport to their office.

After that I got passport stamped in another 10 days.

So it makes me think my case specific query to New York office worked.

Hope this information helps somebody.

MIN 30 days - I think by this month end you will get .Just keep monitoring the forum they will be updating next batch of MR's

From what I read many times, and as is shown on the timeline of many colleagues, the medical request follow second line by a week or two, am I getting mistaken on this? please clarify further if possible.

yesterday got a mail from ndvo asking the written explanation regarding the verification call they had made to my previous employer, as their was some misunderstanding happened between the two of them regarding my employment period....
seniors plz help me, as iam confused that do i have to reply them via email or by sending the documents via courier as they haven't mentioned anything...
and what are the chances i stand if i provide them a written explanation from my employer on company letter head...
plz reply ASAP

But still dont get 3rd line in ecas...
Now what to do??? When can i expect 3rd line ecas???

I would suggest to mail them, attaching scanned copy of the exp letter in company's letter head. Attach a copy of some letter from that employer showing your correct employment period in company's letter head and seal. And also try to send them hard copy.

Hello experts,

I have applied in the Express entry system.
I have got a rejection of Schengen visa recently.
The reason was a business visa was applied and the embassy was not convinced for the business reason for that type of Visa.
Is that an issue for Canada FSW immigration ?

Is there any communication from your VO since the submission of medical report? Did you doctor say everything was good with your health check?

Dear Seniors,

Subject: Query on traveling with less than 6 months validity on Passport.

Need you help for an urgent matter.

We have recently received our stamped (Immigrant) visa and we have booked our tickets for 21st of May 2015. My wife is the primary applicant and her VISA is getting expired on 13th of November 2015. So on the date of traveling, 21st of May, she would have less than six month validity on her passport. Lot of people are advising us to prepone our travel before 13th May 2015 as people can only travel with minimum 6 months validity on their passport.

So i would like to know if anybody in this forum has faced such scenario and what is the way out. Because Cancelling the tickets would cost us heavily.
