its not the 10th. its a misunderstanding of the date format. the actual deadline is on 10/08/2018 - 08th of October.

You are mistaken. Please don’t develop fear in others.
You have 60 days to complete your application so definitely that date is 10 October. Stop worrying, stay calm and concentrate on your process.

I got ITA today. CRS 475. Was filling the details. Got stuck as my daughter's passport doent has Surname and there is question for surname in details by cic. Can anyone guide what can I fill?
As per IRCC for such cases, put first name in surname and keep first name blank, see if tool allows coz some people are not able to keep first name blank while others can, which is bit strange.
If you have some time and are motivated, then it's doable and you can earn extra 30 points + points for a second language as well

I'm learning French right now and it's not as easy as it sounds. I dont know how difficult is TEF but that comes after you know the language.
