The only thing CIC is efficient on!!! Woke up to "You have a new message in your account for application", checked and its CIC way of saying Happy Birthday. Now down to 436 from 441, they did at exactly 12:00AM UTC. So cruel.

Back to my self imposed sabbatical.

Hi there,
Very good score indeed. Especially reading part just wow.
On your certificate there are 2 different numbers with - sign. First one is for registration and second one is for your PIN number. So enter second 8 digits for PIN number area.

One more thing, can you share your reading exam tips? You have almost no mistake. May be just one or two. Look forward to your reply.

Thank you! You've been a real help! I updated my profile and my score increased from 432 to 480. I received 18 points for the second language and the extra 30 points.

I took the e-version for reading and listening. For the reading part there are some questions that are very easy, at the beginning and at the end of the test so I did those first. Than I went back to the middle part, which is more difficult, with long and complex texts. So I've had the time to concentrate more on those. Here you have more difficult questions about the meaning of a text and even though I didn't know all the words in the text I tried to deduce the meaning from the context. I also made a habit of reading French newspapers, which is also useful for the writing test - first subject - writing les Faits divers and even useful with different major subjects that you can use on your argumentation on the second part of the writing test. I listened to French posts on the radio, I watched TV 5 Monde, even just as background noise, just to hear people talking in French. Anyway, the writing part I found it to be the most difficult, I ran out of time, barely had the time to check my text once. I hope this helps...

ECA is like that. My masters were also counted as a bachelor only. With 444 you have very good chance to get the ITA today or in next wednesday.

Thanks for your support. Well, I really hope that the CRS plunges and goes up to 420s really. As this hasnt happened in a while, this would give ample opportunity to everyone waiting and clear a bit of back log.

I challenged with ECA but they maintained the outcome. Good Luck to you and everyone waiting for today

I don't know if a draw is going to happen today or not since I created my profile in December waiting for ITA on 435 and people are saying like April / May is going to be the month for ita's to all those sitting in this range. But now as CIC is playing I don't think that it's going to be less than 440 or so. Can anybody guide me what to do for PNP or what are the chances for ITA at 435 apart from Ontario ... Why nobody talks about Alberta PNP...

Alberta was about to announce a new pnp program earlier this year but they postponed it.
