But you know that you cannot apply for AINP as a PGWP holder from a different province. You have to study in Alberta. Unless you want to apply in a different category.

Post-Graduate Worker Category
For candidates who have graduated from a recognized post-secondary institution in Alberta, are currently working in Alberta in an eligible occupation, and have a valid Post-Graduation Work Permit from Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC).
Changes were made to this category on September 27, 2013.

He didn't mention about he is planning to apply only under Post-Grad Category.

He can apply under EDS-International Grad/Skilled

Oops my bad

Called the AINP today, just to ask if i could get any kind of letter of support ( even i knew it was a very long shot). The person on the other side of the phone said they don't do that. but that's ok, there is things they do and don't. What i liked the most, when i explained that i cant get an LMIA, cause of the 4 years cap, she said " you r in a tough situation", seriously it seemed like she enjoyed it. She just wanted to tell me that like if i did't know that my situation is tough. what a joke.

So I am a bit confused in respect to how we can claim points for a nomination, if a miracle happens and we eventually receive the damn thing, would we be able to claim 600 points? I don't want to wait another 17 months ??? ??? ??? This is like more than 3 years of our lives spent in waiting for PR...

:o :-[ ***The AINP is authorized by Citizenship and Immigration Canada to issue a maximum of 5,500 certificates of nomination for the 2015 calendar year*** albertacanada.com/opportunity/immigrating/ainp-processing-times.aspx

Well I just HOPE they won't increase the processing times again. For me its 15-18 months so the latest date I wait is July and if nothing happens, I will have to move out somewhere else.. I cannot believe I wasted 1,5 on my permit...

So Is it best to wait for the processing time???...mine is 13-15 months and I'm still have 5 months remaining
So much worid..

I am just curious how many people were reviewing our application and it took them this long to award every applicants certificate
