Hello everyone!

I'm new to this forum and I'd like to share some details about my application.

Myself and my spouse are planning to apply for a CSQ by next wk. Am putting my Spouse as prime applicant

Age 16
Area of Training 12 (Chemistry)
Experience 6 (32 Months)
Education 12 (MSC Chemistry)
English 6
French 0
Spouse Characteristics - 9
Children - 8 (2 kids)
Financial 1

we are scoring a total of 70 Points, plus we will take DELF post our application. Is there any cut off score is there for prime applicant .. or they ll consider total 70 points for our application.

Your profile looks very good and as your combined points are above the threshold for CSQ you might be eligible for interview waiver.
Try to learn at least intermediate french with your spouse just in case you might be called for interview. Also aime to take french exam while your application is in process.
I also did my MS in Chemistry. That's a regulated profession in Quebec, so you might wanna take a look at my thread about professional orders that I posted here: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/professional-orders-obtaining-a-permit-finding-a-job-in-a-regulated-profession-t149148.0.html;msg2292141#msg2292141

Hi Harit.

Actually anyone with same experience can share their views.

I received a letter today from quebec which only says " RECU " on the top and it has my "Numero de dossier" and "Nemero de recu"

It says payment received for single applicant, thats it. Will I receive one more letter with interview details?

This is just a plain letter with payment details and no other communication attached to it.

I checked with a lady last time in montreal over the phone and she told me that my file is opened and I have a file number but she cannot share that over the phone and asked me to send a letter to get the same but now they only send me the file number but I know usually you also get the interview details with the AOR but this does not have any so what does this means......
Please reply me guys with same exp or people with any info on the same.

Regards,

Hey FaultyJack.

Got almost same experience. With no Numero de Dossier

Today i got a mail In my spam that my Cheque had been encashed. The mail was dated 10 Mai 2013. It has been 2 months and 2 weeks that i sent in my application. Is this good news? When should I expect my AOR?

Does this mean my file has been opened? or accepted?

Please share your ideas. Thanks

This is definitely your AOR, Because AOR shows only file no. and the Payment received date. thats it. Your interview details will be sent later after verifying your documents.

Hello Friends

As i am planning to appear for TCFQ exam i request you to provide me some idea about the listening test

For example there will be optional answers or multiple choices or single answers or answer in one word

Secondly there will be pictures or only the listening will be given to answer the questions

pls share

Regards

Is French test required for both...main applicant and spouse..., or just main applicant for Quebec immigration... :)

It's multiple choice. No pictures.

Thanks for replying,

I had the details already that my file is open and they can share the file number with me if I send them a letter. I was told this when I called them.
Your file is opened i believe and you might receive the AOR soon, I did not get any email i just received the letter through regular post. so not sure what will be the process for you, may I know which country are you applying from?
I thought that my interview is waived as I did not get anything with the AOR. its kind of bad if I have to prepare for the interview because I am scared of interview in french.

Anyways I guess will have to wait. Please let me know if any update about the AOR or interview.

Waiting.........

Thanks for your reply,

May I know if you received the AOR first and later the interview details?

Its a difficult task to appear for the interview, I have started the preparation for interview in French but as per some comments the officer taking the interview might ask me to produce higher level of French.

Anyways I am just preparing for the worst and hoping to get the best.

Thank you for your reply but there will be more than one answer or only single answer in each question

There will be single answer for each question.
