Hello everyone,
Just like to share the ion about HongKong VO, email there & get the reply in which let me know that for anyone receives AOR before Jan-2011 will receive the instruction before Dec-2011. Other people having AOR after Jan 2011 pls wait for further advice.

Do you think that is too long?

Dear friends

I have started with AF A1 classes good . There are a couple of members in my A1 class who are still confused with regards to immigration. Here are few questions if anyone can help me out for them: ok

- One of them has an MBA (1yr) from UK. Will he qualify to get 12 points under education? yes

- Another one has done his schooling in vernacular medium? However he did his graduation and post graduation in English. Does he need to appear for an IELTS exam? deppends if he proves that he / she is good in english then she/has to give some documentry proof other wise ielts is fine

Merci stillhope :)

It is toooooooooo .......... long my friend...you have been waiting for 6 months now or less but I am entering my one year waiting time. Hope that they keep their promise and let us know about their decision before jan 2012.

Good luck

Thanks for the reply STILLHOPE.

This my point evaluation (thanks to a bit of help from fResco)
------------------------------------------------------------
TRAINING - 4 year BSc. Degree in Computer Science - 10 points
- This comes under Section C - 6 points
EXPERIENCE - 4+ years - 8 points
AGE - 28 years - 16 points
ENGLISH - Advanced - 6 points
FINANCIAL SELF SUFFICIENCY - 1 point

So I have 47 points if i'm correct. I need another 2 points, for which I'm claiming that I have a minimal knowledge in FRENCH. So it would be better to do the TEFaQ first? How much points will I get for A1 and A2?

And Lastly after I ready my documents are you saying I should send it to Hong Kong for CSQ and not to Colombo?

Thanks a bunch for your help guys.

Thanks again STILLHOPE , i'll take the TEFaQ first and submit my application then....

OH and one more question, if I apply to hong kong, where will my interview take place, hong kong or colombo?

I called HK office today. I was informed that application till March will be processed for preliminary screening and the result will be out by Dec 2011 and people who are ready for Interview to be held in HK needs to give it in writing stating they are ready for interview in HK and interview may be conducted in JAn or Feb 2011 in HK. They do not have any interview plans in Inda for Near Future :(

Thanks
