thanks so much for the wishes....... will keep u posted......

@ Iceberg: i believe u still are in Quebec right? i just will like to know ur view about this neighbourhood in Montreal where i am currently negotiating an apartment lease in preparation for my landing:
HOCHELAGA-MAISONNEUVE. is the neighbourhood ok?
2) how far is it from Major universities like Mcgills, Concordia, etc..
3) is it easy to connect other parts of montreal from there?
4) in your own Opinion, which neigbhoorhood will u describe as the most perfect for new immigrants who will need to move around in search of several things(jobs, contact blah blah blah and yet they are unfamiliar with the terrain?
Others with familiarity in Montreal can also contribute.
regards

there is a metro map that you can get from any of the metro stations and it shows all the metros with relation to other parts of montreal. it is pretty easy to get around in montreal from one end to another by a combo of bus and metro services. if your french is not good, you may want to stay in lasalle cos there are a lot of nigerians and other english speaking folk around there. i dont quite remember what hochelega is like but it is definitely not close to mcgill and other univs. there are apartments around mcgill though bit more expensice. cremazie area has a lot of french people - haitians and the like.

Work Experience = 4years plus 8
AOT = Accountant (2007 to date) already given with your education
Children=2 8

Spouse:

as per my this calculation u r scoring 58 including 2 points of your french, u can send your application any time. but u must update your file after getting your delf a1 result and if possible encourage your wife to sit on delf a1 exam to gain extra 2 more points.

Hi challange, I am preparing by myself, It could be that I already familiar with Italian and there are a lot of verbs that exist in the both language. But tell you what, there are also people like stillhope who have passed their A2 just in 4 to 5 months time period. So don't lose hope and just try to be determined.

BTW, would you believe, I have covered all the French tenses except Future just in 4 days? : ) I have different offline resources but I'd suggest you to try Collins French with Paul Nobel. All the very best!

fReSco, Thanks for your information. I have contacted Alliance Frances office they said they have conducting TEF exams but, no classes. Also they have classes for beginers but,
duration is 1 year. I was planing to find a tutor for individual lessons but, problem is to get TEF exam.

+1 to you...thanks so much.
I think the best source for the A1 exam is the DELF A1 activities book. It is more than enough to prepare for the exam.

Hi shootingstar,
Can you help me with the Audio copy of the 150 activities book, i already have the book.

Or anybody in the house. Thanks in advance

I would like to apply.

I went to the consultant today (Dubai UAE) but he asked me to pay 2500$ just for legal fees.
