I am also planning to apply for Quebec. I have started organising all the relevant documents except the bank statements, ielts & TEF.

Does anyone know if I need to submit the bank statements, ielts & TEF upon submission of the forms?

Looking forward to your advice! Cheers!

You do not need bank statement. just ensure u sign " the contract respecting financial self sufficiency"
2) if u are a native speaker of eglish or if u av been taught in english at a higher level of education, u may wish not to submit IELTS result but a letter from ur institution that attests to this fact.
3) better for u if u have ur TEF result at the point of initial application as it limits the number of brought 4wad date but if u do not have it u can still apply while u work at getting the result. so it is a win win situation

Hello. Any news?

@ wingsofmybe the letter which was sent to me for the interview had a Object: Convocation a une entrevue de selection
And It has too the date of interview so even yours should have the interview date of appointment. Does it?
You should have another document that came together with the Convocation that the Object is: Confirmation D'entrevue

More i try to learn french more i loose something else like English or Italian language that i know :) i am preparing well not a big deal but i am trying. My wife knows French and english too at the same level like me
does this will help me during the interview in any situation that can be difficult for me to explain ? she can help me or is not allowed to interfere?

@ shahi are you sending the Police Certificates together with your PR forms?

Shahi - thank you! I also found this link today so I am preparing my answers to all these questions.

Lirijan - The letter hasnt arrived here yet. They only sent me an email that this letter (convocation) has been sent to me on the 22nd of February so I am expecting to receive it any day now!

Lirijan - I am sure your wife can help you during the interview, it will be a conversation between the three of you so she can help you out as well as you can add your two cents while she's talking to the immigration officer.

Please also tell me what you think your level of French is right now and what did you indicate on the initial application when you sent to Vienna

I consider myself A2.

Thank you!

@ wings. At the section of the points of language i checked 3 at french and 6 at english.

I have just finished A1 and started A2. I am just able to talk of my work histories, school and university finished , in general about Quebec and Canada , i can give information about my friends that lives in Montreal who will help me to find a job and an apartment, i can explain some project i have in plan to do in Montreal, so thinks in general not a big deal. I have just 30 days from now left i can't do nothing. i have to work too and beside that when you have a little kid of 3 years old that he never lets you do nothing only focus on him you will not find much time to study. ???

lirijan - I checked 5 on my application (maybe too high?) I finished A2 and now preparing myself for the interview. I can also talk about myself, the job, Quebec, past, present, future plans, I can hold a decent conversation but my vocabulary is obviously limited. My expressions and sentences are rather simple than very complicated and obiously I have a strong accent.

My English is very good though, I am also an ESL teacher but it doesnt really matter coz I know the interview will be entirely in French.

The thing that I am scared of the most is that I will not be able to understand the questions.

On a good note:) As long as we show the desire to continue to learn French, I think we will all be just fine :)

onelove- you're just a few weeks behind me, I think you'll get the interview call very soon.

@ wings My interview appointment is on 30 March 2011 at 10:00. I have just 31 days 16 hours from now. :)
I have prepared some question that were posted here in this forum. I am working through each and try to memorise them.
A big point is the Money that you are declaring to have with you. I have declared more than 10,000 CA Dollars and other big point is your relatives in Montreal i have collected all my friends and familiar photocopy of passports, addresses, telephones, work addresses. I have 4 friends there that are marry and have families more than 15 years in Montreal. They are ready to help me through my first installation. This is a good point.

I hope these assets will help me on my Interview.

Hello All

I am new in this forum i have posted my file for CSQ at Paris.

Thanks

hello new2can

It depend upon every ones points, some need a1, some need a2 or some need more then a2 to go for interview. I think if you have B1 then it is bit easy to clear interview.i find so many people who have only a1 and they got their csq.

thanks
