Just received an e-mail notification from professional body L'Ordre des Chimistes du Quebec that the decision concerning my enrollment was already made and mailed to me via regular mail. They didn't tell me though if it's approved :)

Yes. Definitely they will consider your recent TEFAQ score.
You can send them original TEFAQ score.

Thanks Ketevan and rifiel,

Overall it took 3 months for me which is reasonable according to their website (45-90 working days). It seems faster than applying for comparative evaluation. I hope you guys will get yours very quick also. In my opinion the evaluation is based on the total number of credits and hours studied in core disciplines as indicated in the official transcript. They treat Quebec degrees and degrees obtained outside of Quebec differently. From what I got even those obtained in any other province in Canada are considered as foreign degrees.

Yes, even people who got education in canada outside quebec need to apply for evaluation if they want to work in government

Hi All,

I am a QSW applicant with my husband. Got our CSQ last Nov 2012. submitted federal application Feb 2013. Rcv AOR from CIO 27 March 2013. Rcv AOR from Singapore May 2013. I saw that processing time in SG takes 25 months. Is this true? Anyone here under SG VO? Your help is very much appreciated. Thanks.
