I have updated my address after landing by calling Quebec Immigration as per contact provided to us by police upon landing.... easy step.
I would advise you not to book anything online, come and see then contract an apartment.

My visa card has just been charged on 28/08/2012,, about 7 months after my application for CSQ was delivered to BIQ Paris. Does this mean my file has passed the completeness check? What do I expect next, may be AOR? I continue to wait patiently.

hi guys,

I have been a silent member of this reader of this forum from a long time. Its been almost 1 year since I applied(FYI date du reception du dossier 9 aout 2011).

So it goes like this......I getting married in a couple of months and since the date I applied the rules have changed a lot. So I need help with the below questions

1) What will I have to do to add my wife to my application?
2) Will that be considered as a new application?
3) Will adding my wife increase processing time? Its already been 1 year?
4) Will I apply using the new fees or the fees that was applicable 1 year ago?
5) Will the new rules of language skills and qualification apply to my wife or the old rules that was applicable 1 year ago?

Yes, we have landed 26th August 2012, 2 pm at Montreal International Airport, Police were so kind and friendly, every word with welcome to Quebec.

Hi aislam,
As per the last mission update, they have processed applications upto nov-2010, so now it will be turn for applicants of Dec-2010 & there after.

Just wait for few more days, you will surely get interview date in this mission.

As per my understanding, all applicants upto Mar-2011 will be processed in these 4 missions @ BIQ HK/ ND.
Anything over & above that will be a bonus for all of us who are waiting eagerly for interview.

After 2 years & 3 month you got invitation for interview or waiting list?

do you mean you waited 6 month on waiting list then you got call for interview, I mean to 23 NOV after 3 months usually 2 months

@lemans..thank a lot man...I got this letter 2 days ago..yes after waiting 2 years and more i finally got the ticket for the big show...No i waited only a month approx to get my self on the waiting list...
