Hi, we got an email from Bucharest today asking us for
- Nouveau original Extrait individuel d’État civil
- Nouveau original de l’Extrait familial d’État civil - BUT WE HAD ALREADY SUBMITTED ONE EARLIER WITH MEDICALS. DO WE WRITE TO THEM ASKING THEM WHY OR WE JUST SEND A NEW ONE?
ALSO, should these be legalized from kateb al 3adel and 3adliyye first before ministry of foreign affairs or just ministry of foreign affairs without kateb 3adel and 3adliyye?
on another note, this shows they are moving along, no?! they are still alive in Bucharest.

Just issue both documents, they'll stamp them immediately from the ministry of interior then translate them, I recommend they'd be stamped from foreign affairs too, the translator does all this...

No one knows for sure the lenght....we are just guessing it's 6 to 8 months from the people we know who received their visa within that time frame.

Yes, but by the time you receive your caips notes, the status may have changed, since it takes 30 days to receive them.

sorry but that's what i want to know if i ordered caips today at 04-11 per example i will receive it by 04-12
but what is the date of the caips will be?

It takes about 30 days to process your request. For example, I order the caips notes on July 9th and received them on August 8th. But the caips notes were dated July 18.

Hi guys,
I wanted to also let you know, a while ago someone asked about getting th ebackground check from the US FBI, and I can't remember who it was, but he suggested using the service of an FBI approved channeler to speed the process, well guess what, this service is only provided for US citizens or permanent residnets. So, as someone hwo lived there for some time and you are not one of the cases mentioned, then you cannot use the channeler and get the expedited service....that means you have to wait 8 to 12 weeks to get your FBI background check!

- La copie Immigration Canada devra etre expédiée au Bureau canadien des Visas

I can see clearly that I am supposed to give one of the copies to some bureau but since no address has been specified i was hoping someone knowledgeable on this thread might shed some light on this matter. send to Romania ? Ottawa? or ?

Be careful not to sent it to the wrong office, I suggest to do a scan and send an email to both offices and ask if you should send them the original one
