Hi,Masih khan said:They will call you for xray this will be like after 3 months within 95 to 100 days and best of luck for it if they see something wrong again like no change in xrays they will refer you for further medical tests keep going to IOM until they tell u that now you have to wait for embassy. Cheers
As part of the Furtherance you have to undergo 3 tests and the reports of these should be available after 90 days of the first medical test.
Sputum Test, Sputum Culture and repeat X-ray.
Sputum Test needs to be NEGATIVE (Reports on the next day of the sample collection)
Sputum Culture should say NO GROWTH SEE AFTER 6 / 7 weeks (Report after a min 6 weeks after the sample collection)
Additional X-ray after 90 days of your first medical test.(Report available immediately)
If the Sputum Culture is negative then obviously there would NOT be a change in the X-ray. Two X-rays ( 90 days apart) are for the Medical Desk to compare your X-rays and see if the abnormality is Active TB or Inactive TB.If there is no change, then it is obviously Inactive TB.(Past history and cured)
Sputum test & Sputum Culture ( 3 samples collected in the morning and 6-8 weeks Culture is done on these samples) is the test that will give an exact result of the status of bacteria in your lungs and X-rays are additional evidence to prove that everything is stable
If the Sputum test or Culture is Positive, there is no point in taking the 2nd X-ray and one needs to take treatment / continue the existing treatment till the Sputum Culture is Negative and then go for the 2nd X-Ray.
But it is best to follow what your Medical center says
