Processing time for spousal visa - Sri Lanka

Hello everyone, Quick question. I didn't submit any phone records or Skype records with my application so I was wondering if I has sent additional documents withiught them requesting, would it be a problem? Can I sent the documents anyways or should I just be wait until I hear something from them? Thanks

Hi Doublet, I didn't send them either with my application. And They request me to send them. So, my husband went to the embassy to drop emails, Skype, and greeting cards.

Hi sweet3....yeah but I just figured I'd rather be proactive and send the documents in just in case. Did you hear anything from them yet since your husband handed in the documents?

hey the best bet is dont wait till they to request info from you it will take more time...i had myself dhl additional documents with out their request...get those skype chats and etc..and dhl it to them good luck

Thanks a lot Rathika2011...yea I was thinking the same thing because I didnt want to waste time and wait. When you sent it to them...did u just post it? And did they acknowledge that they received anything?

i sent it by dhl so when its delivered they will have to sign 4 it.....and its gets delivered faster then regular post...on my caips note they have written in there they have recieved additional proofs so good luck don't waste time..

Hi Rathika...thank you so much. One last question (sorry), which address did u send it to? The P.O box that is provided on the letter when the sponsor is approved in Canada or the actual address there? Thanks so much for everything.

no problem can also ask me any questions.... no not the p.o box that will be only delievered to the box no one will sign for it and u wont know as well if ur package was delievered send it to the actual address to sl embassy...

Hi Sinthu4sinthu....did you email them from your email or your husband? I think they usually only respond to the person who is being sponsored. Try that if you haven't already.

Us, it been only 4 months and I'm already loosing hope -_-
