Processing time for spousal visa - Sri Lanka

Expired last nov 2012..... They didn't even ask for a new one.

I was suppose to send my application jan 2012 but due to some other issues I had to sent in

Late. Finally I submitted in may 2012.

Cause, I didn't submitted with my application. I only gave photos. Then they sent me a letter asking proofs. And husband went to drop at colombo.

Finally got the request to do the medical again.
Happy ..... I got something from them.

They emailed my husband and said to do remedial and give original Malaysia police clearance in 30 days. Or we will be rejected your application.

But we applied for Malaysia police clearance 7 months ago
We still haven't heard anything from them.

I am sooooo nervous now. I don't know what we are going to do

Was their email in response to the email you sent them recently?

I would suggest you contact the appropriate department in Malaysia in order to obtain you police report really soon. Call and mail whomever you need to in order to get that, even if it means directing it to a highter level because the last thing you want is to get rejected and have to appeal for your husbands permanent residence...which will be a lengthy wait. As well, you should also have your husband email them or contact the embassy in SL to let them know what Malaysia has to say about the police report.

i called malay....they are sooooooo lazy ....the woman on the other end ....keep saying 'i dont know' for any question u ask. i got so frustrated i asked her to talk to the supervisor ....she just breathing on the phone not saying a work......
i called many time .....she just hangs up

i dont know what to do....heart broken.....

i called malay....they are sooooooo lazy ....the woman on the other end ....keep saying 'i dont know' for any question u ask. i got so frustrated i asked her to talk to the supervisor ....she just breathing on the phone not saying a work......

Don't give up...email the embassy and keep trying to get a hold of the manager. If you have to, call them daily and express to them how important this document is. As well if you have no successful communication with them, then I would suggest you contact the high commission of Sri Lanka and explain the situation to see how exactly to go about this.

Did you check your Ecas status...has there been any new updates?
