Spousal Sponsorship Application cannot be found

I submitted my Spousal Outland Sponsorship application (Outside Quebec) online on May 7, 2025.

I have not received an Acknowledgment of Receipt (AOR) or any response from IRCC to date. I’ve contacted them multiple times, and each time I was told that they cannot see my application in their system, which seems strange.

I submitted a webform inquiry as well, and the response was the same — they couldn’t locate my application. When I called more recently, the agent said they would escalate it to the back office for review. It’s now been about a week since that request, and I still haven’t received any update.

Has anyone else experienced this? Any idea why this might be happening?

Have you received AOR email? If not, you application is not in the system yet.
It's only been less than 2 months. I guess the current trend is getting AOR sooner but previously AOR was usually in 3 months.

Not sure how an IRCC agent didn’t mention during one of the multiple contacts that this is just normal processing and to wait for AOR. All the contact was within 6 weeks of applying. This isn’t rocket science.
