Hi butterfly53, that's really good. That't good. If you dont mind can you please let us know what documents your husband sent in with the application (ex proof of pics, emails, telephone bills) and if they requested any additional documents from you. Also can you let us know if they contacted you at all during the process. Can you also explain your updates online on ECAS. Thanks so much

they will either email or mail for additional documents. for pr they emailed us but normally call your main line.
provide proofs that proves your relationship is genuine. phone bills incoming and outgoing,skype history,emails, pictures of all sort.

hey guys, Someone called from colombo, and told my husband that they are viewing his file right now. They said they don't know how long it will take. Is this normal?Do they call people to say they are viewing files? Im tensed. I don't know if it's a good or bad sign!

I knw sinthu4sutha, that's why I'm confused and tensed. I wonder why they called call to just inform and... they did not interview him. They just asked for personal details for personal and securite purposes. Thats ALL!!!!

From this what I learned sofar is that every single case
Is different to the other.
I am nerve recked every time someone hears something and
I still didn't get any feed back from them.
They never responded to my calls or email.
They never sent any letter with file number.

When application went from Canada I got the email from cic
That's all.
I asked my MP for help , he told me they can't do anything until next
Sept 2013. Call them back in August

So now just waiting and praying.

hey sweet3 relax and don't panic..my hubby had the same call in 2011 just called an said viewing the file and that they will contact him if they need anything....but after a month later from that call he was convoked for an interview...

Nope nothing.
After cic sent the file to Srilank, a I got the email with UCI number July 2012
After that nothing ........
I emailed them many times no answer.
Called them .... Nothing
Tried my MP .... No use ( they asked me to call them back in August 2013.

Frustrating.
