I don't normally post on this thread :-

My hubby's application submitted at the end of July has just been returned. The WHOLE application - because they've changed the photo specifications.

We're fuming... why couldn't they have just emailed him to send the new size photos in to them instead of returning the whole thing?

>:(

4 months wasted

CIC is working in a dictator style we all are helpless whenever they want they can create backlog and keep you waiting for years in your case it was very simple return the application immediately or ask only new photographs this is unfair to return application after 4 months believe me CIC needs to valuate their staff many of them doesn't wants to put any efforts this department need 100% overhauling.

No wonder when you call CIC they explicitly warn against verbal abuse. In all my years no other service has had to state such, and reading this forum, I now know why...

My husband applied for pr renewal in may 25, and we started the urgent processing on Tuesday so should he send the new photos or he's not required to do so???

Please answer my question asap

I don't think that's required. But checking with CIC over the phone would be the best bet. I have heard people saying both sides of the story in these forums.

if may 25th it means already they checked the file and if they didn't ask any thing you should not be worry.

I'm really confused, my husband called cic and they told him to not send anything as long as they didn't ask for it, i hope they don't cause us more delay

Hi everyone,

Following on from my earlier post, I thought I'd update you;

My husband's application was re-sent with amended photo sizes to Sydney and is now appearing on eCAS as being 'In Process' as of December 23rd.

Best Wishes for 2016 ;D

Hi Everyone,

Following up with my previous posts of my PR renewal. Thanks for all your advice. I just checked ecas and it shows as decision made on 21st Dec. The card will be mailed or will be asked to be picked up. One step done. Now have to wait for my citizenship to process to be done. Good luck to everyone and best wishes for 2016.

My husband's application also got approved on 16 Dec and the card will be mailed to him, we made the urgent request on 13 Dec, they keep the application on que for ages if you don't make an urgent request

That is good news. I hope he gets his card soon. Good luck with that!
