PPR to CoPR Timeline

My PPR items package arrived in Ottawa yesterday. I was wondering what the average amount of time is between sending your PPR items and getting a CoPR back in the mail. I am from the USA and didn't need to send my actual passport so my only concern is the CoPR.

it take 1-4 weeks. with the average being closer to 2 weeks.

where it's being mailed to in the us is a factor in how long it takes. if you're in california, i can tell you from experience it can take over a week for regular mail to get there from ottawa. i recently sent something to california from ottawa by regular mail and it took nearly 2 weeks to show up. if you submitted an express envelope, obviously it will take less than that.

right now Ottawa is speeding up its PPR...lots of people in this forum has gotten it within 10-12 days but as CDNPR2014 said , anywhere from 1-4 weeks... Ours got to ottawa on the 24th Feb and today the application is approved and closed so should be getting our COPR around friday or saturday

I am living in Canada right now about 1 and a half hours drive away from Ottawa so the mail going to and from my apartment to Ottawa seems to send really fast, which is one thing I am really glad about
