Even tho I am waiting for LA this timeline makes me feel alittle better because my DM was made Nov 6th everyone on here been saying CoPR is mailed before DM but this is not the case here the DM was 4 days before the CoPR being mailed so if my CoPR was not mailed till 4 days after decision was made then it has only been 6 mailing days... but still LA should email and let people know... I was ready to claim it as lost.

Congrats on the progress Creampop! I was told that the copr "should" be sent this week, but my ecas still says in progress. I guess we all shouldn't check it so often; it only makes us crazier. :P

I've been using that auto-checker that another person on this forum created, so I check much less often now. But, all I've found is that I'm watching everybody else's timelines much closer haha. Well, now that John_D416 got his, I feel much better about our chances. I bet we both get it...Thursday!

Well, I should be getting it in the US (the only address I have on record) so that counts out Thursday (holiday). So let's guess Friday so you might be right ! :)

I think it comes from the US, so I guess we might have to rule out this week. Damn the lateness of American Thanksgiving! At least I have football to get me through that day.

:o
Just like any other holiday Santoki, whether it's American or Canadian :)

Thanksgiving used to be one of the Holidays you got off unlike Canada where every holiday you have off and all the stores are closed... now all the stores are open walmart, sears, toys r us at 8 pm thanksgiving night! So don't complain about American holidays Canadians get way more... and if it's a Sunday they get the Monday in place... which is worse... LOL

I know what PR stands for but what is "PPR"?

Passport Pages Request.

Thanks. So this is the step just before PR status is granted?

Generally, yes. So far, it looks to be about 5-6 week wait for final COPR to arrive after the PPR from Ottawa.

PPR request yesterday, November 20th. She was also asked for an RCMP clearance letter, which surprised us, but shouldn't take too long as my wife had her fingerprints done electronically within hours of receiving the request and they should be processed within 72 hours, by Friday afternoon at the latest. Hopefully the letter will arrive from RCMP by early to mid next week and we can submit it along with her passport pages.
