Sending stuff with the moving truck company tomorrow from the US and filling out the B4 and B4A forms now. Just wanted to know when exactly to sign the forms. Do we do so beforehand so the moving company has a record of us signing or are these to be done when we officially land? Also, the B4A asks for a "Document Number". Is this something that is filled in by CBSA? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Do so when you land and they are processed by customs. Then you can send a copy of the processed ones to your moving company for their records (the processed ones will have custom's stamp on each page of the list and of the photos).

CBSA will assign the document number when they process the forms.
