Not yet that I know of. I was told last week that I should be issued one this week. So we'll see...

Wow, and your timeline starts out almost the same as mine (CPC-M received my application on 6 March) but you received sponsor approval much faster (end of may versus 21 June) but then I had the spiked club to encourage CIC to finish mine quickly. It really does demonstrate that each case is truly unique in terms of CIC processing - and seemingly without any clear reason why it is different.

Glad you're almost done. Nothing feels better than when that CBSA officer stamps your passport and writes "I----------" on it, then hands that and your executed copy of the COPR back to you. Then you know your dealings with CIC are done for a while (at least a couple of years).

Has Ottawa issued a COPR to anyone yet? We've seen plenty of PPRs but I don't recall anyone reporting a Confirmation of Permanent Residency being received yet.

I also emailed (because I have a job offer and would like to give them a starting date). I received a reply this morning saying that my landing document "should be issued this week." I'm really hoping that means it will be sent soon!

And you didn't even have to namedrop!

Well, looks like both of us were given that same "promise". Let's cross our fingers!

Double crossing fingers!

I think this sounds realistic, as we both got our PPRs about the same time as well. I am just hoping I am not putting too much confidence in "should."

What? You don't believe in the definite maybe - from CIC?

:o

I got my PPR the same time you guys did, so my fingers are crossed as well. I resigned from my job yesterday, since I was already approved for a study permit at the University of Manitoba. I'll be moving to Canada on December 30th, I just hope it'll be a landing instead of a study visa pick up :)

Got my COPR yesterday..but was sent to my home address in TX instead of here in canada. Will be receiving it tomorrow.

What day did you receive the PPR from Ottawa?

Well it came from LA and I got it yesterday.

Ok, so you sent your physical passport in. This thread has been more reserved for those getting the request directly from Ottawa and only sending in a scan of their passport.

When did you receive the request to send in your passport from LA?

Wow, fantastic processing time! Congrats! So, the COPR is processed in Ottawa, but the actual COPR is sent from the US to your Canadian address? I suppose that will add a couple of days to the wait! Either way, congrats again! This is our first Ottawa PPR that's been finalized.

Even tho I am waiting for LA this timeline makes me feel alittle better because my DM was made Nov 6th everyone on here been saying CoPR is mailed before DM but this is not the case here the DM was 4 days before the CoPR being mailed so if my CoPR was not mailed till 4 days after decision was made then it has only been 6 mailing days... but still LA should email and let people know... I was ready to claim it as lost.
