Please how long does it takes to get your AOR after CIC deduct the application fees from your credit card?

One of our teammate timeline as follows....

31-01-2016 - Sent App to CIC-CIO NS
05-02-2016 - App received by Mike at CIC
20-03-2016 - CIC charged the Processing Fees on Card (45 days)
25-03-2016 - Received AOR

Good luck.

I sent my application on 15th January 2016 and noticed a deduction of fees from my card aroung 20th March. I got the AOR on 23rd March.

Guys, all my timeline is in profile.

I did not do upfront medical. I waited for them to request for it. I paid for RPRF fees upfront but later I added my spouse. They asked for RPRF for my spouse along with my medical request.

Congratulation, you lucky dude.

Anybody got MR today???Give us some good news please...

I guess the fee payment and AOR are not related.

I got my CC checked out at the same time around March 20, but got AOR on Apr 16.

CIC has a tendency to bundle applications in a group and to do a batch process. CC processing may be done in a such way.

Normally one year but depends on the origin of document.

For the country you currently live in, the police certificate must be issued no more than six months before you apply.

For countries where you have lived for six months or more, the police certificate must be issued after the last time you lived in that country.

Its been 8 months since cic received my application, 4 months since i received AOR, and 2 months since RPRF. Just booked my upfront medicals for next week.

Since they don't penalize for it, i'm willing to take the chance that upfronts will make my processing time shorter.

Hey guy.
Just a quick question. what happens if my passport just got renewed and I get a PPR request before the receive copy of my new passport?

My background check has changed from in process to not needed ,and the medical status still not needed.
It is my friend ,her medical status showed the same as yours, and after several days ,she got the MR.

Hi, I have experienced the same status change with you. Today, I got email from cic too. it says "Your application has been updated. Please sign in to your account and check your application status and messages for more information."

I login my CIC account, bg check changed to: "not need at this time", previously it was " in process".

I was wondering if you end up finding out what does this status change mean? Thanks

Hi Guys,

I am november paper based applicant.

I have completed my medicals today and panel physician gave me a paper. How to submit that paper to CIC?
