Those one that didn't receive yet AOR I recommend you to call CIC and ask for your application, since I have read at the forum that people that did send documents to CIC on JUNE 2015 waited for three months and when they did not get the AOR they called CIC and asked for their application, some of them after 10 days after the call got AOR.

I send my doc's to CIC on 30/07/2016 and CIC received them on date 04/08/2016 and I'm going to wait until October after that I'm going to call them, it is my right to know what happened with my application, maybe they send back the application and Post offices did through application in junk.

good advice. My file received on 9 th june, 2016 but on my cic account its says"open" thats means do they still have my file? Or did they send that back? How do we know? I called cic and they said to me that they didnt have authority to check that . They told me to send messages to case specific inquiry to IRCC Web form and i tried that it said unable to cast these message. I am really frustrated now

I have received a request for medical and payment of right of permanent residence fee from LVO today to be done in 30 days.
Looks like LVO is progressing rapidly.

I received my AOR from CIO on 24th August 2016.

Same here, I am able to link my application online. I also paid the fees online so there's no way to check whether they've charged me or not. If they cancel my application then I'll get my credit back, that's the only way to know. The online status is showing open but it's now more than 3 months. My nomination is expiring this month so I'm a bit concerned! Keep me updated Alpit, looks like we're in the same boat

CIC is not working they forgot to check the applications. Before they used to send AOR within a month now we must wait them for years...

There are too many people who applied in july and not enough docs . They already got their file back . So they mean they opened their file . So why are not we getting file number or anything else? Do they miss the files to open or do courier company lose our file?

Hi All,

I have got SINP nomination and ITA too. Now while filling PR application, I figured following silly mistakes done on my forms provided to Saskatchewan.

1. Additional Family Information (Spouse) form- My mother-in-laws birth date is wrong.
2. Background Form of Spouse - One of the addresses start date is wrong (instead of May 2013 its written Jan 2013).

In PR application I am obviously placing all the correct information. But do you think above things can be a big issue? Can you please advise what I should do now?
