Actually they will post new PPR on Saturday.

I think they might work in this manner, new ppr will be pushed to a update channel, this channel will choose 2nd day 7:30am to send email in case of server jam, the other service might choose different time. so today they might have approved a few candidates. the only thing I don't understand why they also post ppr on Monday, they also work on Sunday?

myCIC is working now. Waiting ones can check if the Background Check turned in-process so that at least we can expect ppr on Monday.
Thinking it was system issue hence no ppr went out for the guys who had in-process last day. Hopefully rain is coming on Monday. Have a good weekend buddies. Its coming.

My update: Application is approved and closed online. Will be getting passport next week.

Guys, I'm a June applicant. My file was received on Jun 19th 2015. I have a question....My passport is expiring May 2017, less than a year from now. I want to apply for US visa with my new passport. If I renew it now, with the earliest appointment available, I will get it back the second week of July. What do you guys think? would it be better if I wait until PPR? Thanks!

You will be getting ppr in the next 1-2 weeks. So its risk.

I checked MyCIC right now. Background check changed to “in progress” Thank you

My timeline is...

I sent PR application on April 20th in 2015. My application arrived at Sydney office on April 24th in 2015.

But ECAS shows...

Application was received on June 8th in 2015. ( I have no Idea what happened to my application...)
Started process on August 21st in 2015.
AOR on September 2nd. (I emailed Sydney office to ask about my AOR because I didn't receive AOR email but I could log in ECAS with my client number and see my status. Next day they sent AOR.)
I took up-front medical exam in December in 2015. (I emailed Sydney office with the paper the doctor gave me.)
Medical was received in January in 2016.
Remainder mail on January 27th.

Do you have a valid work/study/visitor permit ?

I have a valid work permit till July 18, but it's a closed work permit (since my PNP was employer driven meaning that they sponsored me). Thing is, I don't think I will stay with my employer since they are not allowing vacations during the summer.

are you from a visa exmpt country? if yes i think all you need is your work permit. but if you need visa to travel to canada they wont let u in even if you will say u are a PR u must have ur PR card on hand and you said work permit will expire next month so i think its a little risky to do that.
