Ecas updated today: Decision Made. Anyone in Vancouver have experience with approximate wait times for oath date? They said 2-3 months but i know it can vary.

Update: Test passed: March 12 Oath ceremony: in 2-3 months My two sisters also passed! We did the interview one after the other. Excited to take the oath as a family :)

They’ve closed down, and getting transcripts or diploma takes 2-3 months. My appointment is tomorrow, but thanks for the suggestion. I don’t see it being a big issue really but wanted to see if someone here has had any experience with that part of the interview.

Does anyone here know or has had experience traveling while waiting for their citizenship? I'm thinking about doing a day trip to Seattle for the long weekend, but not sure if this would delay the application process and would rather be safe.

Single applicant from Vancouver. Application sent: Aug 8th Application received: Aug 13th. I am all for patience but nearing the 3-month mark to receive AOR, makes me wonder if it's common nowadays for it to take this long? Looking at the sheet i notice it would average between 1.5-2 months...

Thanks for the encouragement and for your thoughts. It's been a long journey since I first set my eyes on immigrating (14 years ago), so with this being the last step, I'm more than anything excited at finally being able to hold my own Canadian passport. :)

Patience, it will come. You'll see. This has been a long journey for you I'm sure but eyes on the prize. You are so close and only good news await you. It's a matter of months now.
