There doesn't seem to be any real pattern for the ECAS updates. I've seen people get updates days after, and others have waited 4-5 months.

Ok.

Thanks for your reply.

I sent my application in June and received AOR on August 25th.

Waiting for medical request and looks like I gotta wait till few more months for them bcz March or April applicants are still waiting for it so just confuse if I should go for upfront medical...

Due to business slow boss offering 30-34 hours a week
My question ; does it effect my PR application

What is Canadian full time hours

Hey Guys! this is my application process through PNP.. Does anyone know how long it takes them to contact you after the "decision made" status?

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision. (got this on about July 25)

I tried to do upfront but my UCI number is not recognized at few of the doctors' offices i called. Have you tried checking with any of the doctor's office to see if your UCI is available for them to see your profile online?

It might take 7 days or it might take 2-3 months. No can predict the way CIC works. You have no other option but wait.

Please share your landing experience.

as an in-land applicant, I got an appointment in the office in the city, very smooth landing :D ,
took less than 10 minutes, nothing special, just two question,
1-are you still married/any changes to your family status
2-have you been charged with a crime
then post graduate work permit expired.
then the CoPR was signed and thats it.

I called CIC and the agent verified that it is correct and I need to send to requested documents. I emailed the documents to the email address mentioned in the email (it says if we have technical difficulties and can not send through MyCIC we can email the docs). However, it will delay the process a lot since CIC preserve a 20-working-day for them to process an email :(
However, I am very worried now as it does not seem a common thing to ask people for "Supplementary Information for Students"! Even CV does not make that much sense to me (but more reasonable than the other!).

I appreciate if anybody had or know of the same situation.

Thanks

I received the same email. Also, I have another problem. They asked for the company I am going to work for when I come back to my country. I don't know how to answer this question, because I didn't paln to work in my country. could you please let me know if you reply to the same question and if you get any reply back.

I appreciate your help.

My response to that question: I am currently working in Canada

I know devpas....
I called CIC after 15 months and they said it is normal and 15 month is an average and it may take longer!!! I asked if any document is needed and the agent said no!!!
I have never contacted MP neither gotten GCMS! I am not sure if these help... I am really pissed off...

Hey gildeh,

any news from your application? There's not much going on around the forum anymore... It's so frustrating to know that CIC doesn't do anything or say anything when it's over the "processing time" as well, then what's the point of processing time in the first place???

Already landed but no update on the ECas. It shows decision made and nothing about landing.

Hi amd87. Nothing yet!!
It is just an average of processing time, they said!

I just want to share this with you guys, when I checked my ECAS yest., I noticed another 2 lines were inserted, line 2 and line 4, which happened last year and updates was only made now. Last week, Sept 10, I received an instruction from CIC for medical re-assessment (for my dependent only). It's already 16 mos. since I filed and they received my application. So right now, I am pretty sure that my application was really on process because of these movements. Glory to God! Hope and pray that we all got our approved permanent visa! :) :) :) :)
