I landed on May 27th, and my ECAS says my PR card was put into processing on August 17 and mailed out on August 24th. Haven't received it yet; hopefully next week.

And FYI, not everyone unfortunately gets ECAS updates about the PR card. It seems completely random who gets them and who doesn't. My ECAS shows PR card application as a separate application below my PR application (it appeared there last week, and now it shows the status as "complete" because the card has been mailed out to me), but I know tons of people who never got a single word on ECAS but eventually received the card in the mail.

That makes sense. I have no update on my ECAS. Still waiting for PR card since landing on June 4th.
Called CIC last week. The guy said it should be processed early next month. So about 90 days.

I landed on June 13 2015, I am still waiting for the PR cards to arrive. Anyone else been waiting a long time?

I also landed on same date, let me know if you hear any update!!

I received my PR card in the mail today. That's the end of this journey! Lots of luck to everyone who's still waiting.

They didn't even ask about mine.

They kept mine yesterday with them. I am not sure if the officer forget to get it back to me or they are supposed to keep it. However, technically I don`t I think I don`t need it anymore as my status is now PR and I have the landing paper and will have PR card whenever it come in the mail box. Has this happened to anybody elsE?

I had the same concern. They kept mine too and infact tore it off and threw in trash. It depends on the officer. After becoming PR, that document is just a piece of paper. your status has been updated in the database.

Printing a plastic pr card for someone who just became a pr after all the verification is 25% of the time it took to become a PR. That makes immigration officers really look good now.

That sounds logical, devpsd. They do take a lot of time to process whole thing. The officer told me it is right now taking more than 90 days to receive the card. So, an updated for anyone waiting for their card.

Passport request email received 2 days after DM, on Aug 21

it was a very long wait

I plan to land at Niagara next weekend. Other than COPR and PP, what else is needed? Someone mentioned about a photo id other than the passport and residence proof. Thanks

Congratulations to all the guys who got their PR...

I am still stuck and need your help...

My application was delayed because my wife was pregnant and her medical was not completed. However, Now the baby is born and she is going to complete her medical tomorrow. But, I am confused about adding the baby to the PR file. I informed CIO about the child birth and they sent me a link of cic website to get information about additional information. But the link is not working. I sent them several emails during the last month but no reply. I tried calling them but they say that i have to contact CIO via email.

I guess that I need to send child's birth certificate, passport copy, pictures and fee... But to whom at which address, I dont know.

Please suggest what should I do...

You licence with correct residential address (where you want your PR card to be mailed) will serve both as your photo ID and residential proof. Other than that they will only need your:

PASSPORT (on which CIC stamped Visa)
Documents you received in the mail along with VISA
Your Work Permit.

I hope it helps
