ECAS status updated to Medical Received. Medicals done: 14 May... Hope this stays at the same pace...

Hello All.

Finally after almost 1 year I checked my status online last night, two lines were added in addition to Medical received.
IP - May 22
DM.

I have been trying the call centre agents all morning and spoke to 2 already but they are not able to confirm the decision.

Any ideas? I will continue to keep you guys posted

Hey gopsgrg did u get ppr yet as I can see your dm was made on 19th may.

I am november applicant and my decision was made on 22nd may but still no ppr request . Ecas was updated today and I called cic (long hectic morning trance) and got the news my application is approved.

Btw for nepalese folks here

Okay Guys finally got a hold of someone a nice agent who confirmed my application for PR is approved........PARTY TIME

Unfortunately mine is still just Application received status.
have no idea what takes them so much time to update it.
I did my medical tests on 14th may and they also had online result upload.

Wonder if it is just ecas or CIC issues as usual.

Wow! that is super quick in comparison to a lot of us who have their files rotting in the inconsistent system.
I am a May 2014 applicant, RPRF in 1st week of May and medical done on 14th May. Still says Application received.

yes bro i havnt got ppr yet.i have send someone in nepal to confirm wether VFS is taking the passport or not but they have said they havnt started taking passport in VFS in nepal yet.right now im confused wether to use DHL to send my wife passport here or go on her own to delhi offfice..
(hajur nepali haruko je hos chittai gardirako cha tyo khusi ko kuro ho bhukampale sabai barbad ta banayo at least chito processing gardera bhayeni maan ta bujcha )

Question re. GCMS Notes:

Last week on ECAS it showed Medical Received under my name and I got my GCMS notes today. In the GCMS Notes today, my Application Status Reason is "In Progress", is it same as IP? No, I guess b/c IP is "In Process", right?

Moreover, as per the report they haven't started my Security checks and Criminal Checks are in "In Progress" again. Any clue how much time it will take from here?

I was really hopping to get a faster DM, but considering that they haven't started my Security checks yet, I am afraid it will take longer time now

Check tomorrow or day after. It takes a couple of weeks usually.

Its good to see so many people on this forum getting DM and PPRs. I am confident 90% of us will be done within the next 2 months.
everyone seems to be moving from IP and DM at the same time which is great .

CIC is finally accelerating to Express entry speed.

Check the date at the end of each page. That will tell u when it was generated. It could be a month old info. "in progress" means they started working on that part of the app. Once all the "in progress" are "passed" you will get IP and DM. I actually had a bunch of "not started" on mine on criminality and security less than a month ago. they are moving quite fast.

Passports tesari pathauda illegal hunxa so ask nepal embassy in ottawa if they can issue a letter which can b put together with passport.

Mero ni testai vaxa next month nepal janu xa ani time ma ppr aayena vanne tension lol

hopefully VFS will start taking passports by the time i get ppr from ottawa and get the 2nd email for my wife delhi visa office .or else got to travel delhi visa office wot else can we do... garib desh ko dukhi janata

Good catch buddy! I have checked the dates at the bottom, and they're from 26th April, almost a month old. Well based on that, I might received something really soon

Question for you MK,

I see that GCMS notes has the all the request I have made till yet. Can I make another request for GCMS now, or will it effect my file in anyway?
